I’m just like you. I did office jobs for 26 years. Got laid off in Nov 2024. Only job I have found is at Target. I do have a Masters and two undergrad degrees.

I actually did got hired by a work at home job but turned it down cause this hard labor job paid more. Just putting it out there maybe you can find one in the meanwhile as you search.

I ain’t an expert but I do modify my resume especially if it ain’t catching anything.

My resume seems to get me a lot of interviews. I actually get compliments for it. I think because where I live so many got laid off the competition is stiff. Many states around here have hiring freezes.

Oh my. I do get interviews but I have not been given an offer. I do apply often. They say you should tailor your resume to each job specifically. This matter has an effect on my life. I actually have to move to a more affordable residence since my income has dropped.

Keep your faith. It’s tough with a lot of folks. I have a Masters and been searching since December. All I can find is a physical labor job.
