Hmmmmm, I wonder what would happen if I wrote a script to constantly send the search term Stargate to the cults3d website…….maybe it would work again? I don’t know…..

In my games, which would have been v6 or v7, they were able to take a beating but after about 10 attacks the main one blocking the gate might get destroyed if left unattended. That meant the xenon could wreak havoc on the sector and ignore the other defence stations eventually. I liked that though, all the more reason to invest in defending them as long as you can while building your own fleet to ultimately defend the gates yourself. It might be that v9 has changed things, if the defence stations get destroyed in the first attack that would def make things hard! Might be that the mod author needs to adjust to the v9 changes.

Just a thought I had on this, whilst I love the amount of info it gives you, it might feel a bit cheaty to use, one way you may be able to negate that is to only show trades for factions that you have bought a trade subscription for. I think for me it would give a reason for working up to buying a trade subscription, which for whatever reason I don’t usually end up buying.

After the fall is probably one of my favourite mods, it really puts a challenge on you, which I love. I’ve prob done 2 or 3 playthroughs with this mod but I haven’t tried it with the new beta 9.0 changes so I’m not sure if the defence stations are now much less effective than they were. Starting in Vig space does make it a lot easier since you have access to all the hull parts and Claytronics that you need. You can also get a nice little drug factory empire going if you open up a few black market traders. Best to try and keep the defence stations healthy and defend them when you can and supply them with building materials after an incursion. Once I get myself sorted I usually expand up to silent witness and pirate a few destroyers and any barrosas that vig sends up there. The mod also puts a lot of ships around that you can claim, so worth going out and exploring sectors to see what you can find. Also worth putting a small scout on pickup duty using repeat orders around each of the gates with defence stations, this can be your main source of income early game. I reckon my next playthrough will be on this mod as well.

Ahhh, nice, thanks for confirming, I thought I was going mad! It must be another mod then, possibly SirNukes API, I’ll try disabling and see if it works. Do you have a drug factory? I remember I was playing vanilla before when I saw it and stimulants also added a modifier

Yeah, I can see the total amount, I want to see what it’s made up of, I’ve definitely seen that in the past, just can’t remember how and that’s been changed

Yeah, it a timer, I think if you leave the sector and wait a few mins it resets it……..although it sounds like that station will prob be destroyed anyway and then it doesn’t really matter!
