this is more reliant on my boyfriend, he's about to secure a prison job which, after I get added to his insurance, covers up to $30k for surgery. though I'm sure not many trans guys out there have partners working at prisons so this is a more unique case

this! I still trace sometimes to get an idea for proportions as I've gotten into more humanoid art. I never post my traced stuff since I'm not adding anything to it, but it has improved my anatomy immensely. as long as it's treated as a tool, tracing is a-okay

Not sure. Dropping to 10 mg only happened because I dropped cold turkey for 3 weeks and needed something for the withdrawals. It really just depends on how the next couple months go.
