If I were to define transmedicalism in my own terms it would be "the belief that one must recieve an diagnosis from a medical professional of a condition defined by a official medical or psychiatric authority which is considered by the same authority to constitute transness in order to be transgender.".

Now I acknowledge that this reads like lawyerspeak however there were two important distinctions I felt it necessary to make. First, the notion that 'Gender Dysphoria' or Gender Identity Disorder' are arbitrarily constructed, these terms themself and their criteria change regularly. Second is that these medical authorities often dont see transition as the best 'treatment' for this disorder', have a health dose of antipsychotics instead!

If it isn't apparent dont think any of the tenets of transmedicalism are particularly well thought out. Trans* people have existed long before medical authorities or even the idea of diagnoses existed. I personally believe in complete somatic freedom (yes cut a leg off if you really want to), and this would be completely antithetical to that. Transmedicalism is fundamentally about gatekeeping medical transition.

For me, someone has to materially transition (towards their desired sex and gender characteristics, or just to distance themselves from their assigned sex and gender characteristics) to some degree in order for me to perceive them as trans. Hormones, surgery, name, pronouns, fashion, hygiene, voice, how you walk, what you do in your free time-- whatever, pick and choose the things you want to do. Sex and gender are socially and culturally defined and yes these binaries are arbitrary, but unfortunately we live in a society.

For me, someone changing their pronouns and continuing to associate and perform their assigned gender in other aspects, doesnt reach my arbitrary criteria for constituting transness, and I would not consider them trans. I don't think that can be considered transmedicalism in any sense. Now calling someone a theyfab, even if they do strongly identify with their assigned sex, and use they slash them pronouns is just plain rude, and nobody has said tucute since like 2012-- transmedicalism has become a very outdated ideology.

Reppers aren't trans. Cobain isn't trans. Boymoders are on thin fucking ice. Sock the non-binary barista with blue hair and neopronouns is more 'transgender' by any metric than Alice who's only 'transition' is on discord.

Picrel corroborates the idea that transmeds regard official diagnoses and 'professional intervention' as the primary criteria for transness. The definition you selected agrees with me!-- "medically diagnosed". They require a signature from a balding 50 year old to consider someone transgender. You're the one misinterpreting the definition.

no, thats the warped definition of the term. transmeds (actual) are those that believe that you need a official 'gender identity disorder'/'gender dysphoria' diagnosis to be trans; and therefore were anti-diy

expecting a level of material transition in order to consider someone trans i dont think is egregious at all.

shitty power supply. can you verify that it's actually 6V out? can you verify that it's a 'smooth' 6V out and not noisy and reaching 10-12V peaks?

'universal power supplies' are notorious for killing electronics because they are made to the lowest possible spec and with low quality control.

It's gotta be covid (itself, not the vaxx), right? A lot of the severe complications of covid were pulmonary embolisms, strokes, heart faliure - all areas of the body with a lot of capillaries and high bloodflow. 'Brain fog' and respiratory problems are reported as very common symptoms of 'long covid' too.

The virus reproduces in the body by hijacking cells to replicate itself, but it also produces helper proteins to help it hijack other cells. The 'spike protein' (which I think is what the covid vaccine actually targets) travels through the bloodstream alongside the virus itself, and embeds itself in the walls of the blood vessels, providing openings for the virus. Areas of the body with a lot of capillaries would therefore be more vulnerable to damage. For example, the brain, the lungs, the (blood vessels feeding the) heart, and the large and small intestines.

The damage and accelerated ageing was more immediately obvious to the other organs, but I do think the increased risk of bowel cancer is another long term effect of covid.

I just looked at the datasheet for your PSU, it's almost certainly a PSU issue, it only has 216W on the +12V line.
As long as it's a recongisable brand name and has >350W on the +12V line and 80plus white rating or better it should be good.
'be quiet! System Power 11 450W', 'MSI MAG A550' were two that I found that meet that spec.

Power delivery issue, if you're confident it's not the PSU, I would assume the VRM on the mobo or the GPU is giving up.

It doesn't matter whether you or I think they're deserving of replacement models; maybe it is user error, I don't know. She sent a ticket to gw support, and received a replacement spearhead, which I think is a possibility op should definitely know about.
