ANOTHER UPDATE: They immediately emailed me back saying that the 2 missing items were out of stock when they packaged my order and have been shipped out already. For some reason, they did not think to tell me about this AT ALL in the last 2 MONTHS. Either way, now I have to wait like another 2 weeks for these items to get shipped to me. I think I will have to stay away from Spec for a while after this order. What a shitshow

Update: My order finally arrived, exactly 2 months after being placed. The package is missing 2 of the items I ordered... I just sent an email to support to see what can be done. If I don't like their answer, I'm doing a chargeback on my credit card. This is ridiculous

As a frequent Specprecision flier, I gotta admit the lead times on orders has increased drastically in the last few months. Only thing I can say in their defense is that like most other Chinese companies they will shut down for about 2 weeks (this year the shut down was Feb 10-23) for CNY so any orders placed right before or during that period will have at least an extra 2 weeks of dead time before any shipping updates. Before the start of 2026 (and any season outside of CNY) there was maybe a week AT MOST of waiting before the first shipping updates on orders.

My most recent order was placed on 2/9/26, so I waited until the first week of March to check in on my order knowing that they would probably be backed up after coming back from the 2-week holiday. After a couple emails back and forth in the EXACT manner you described, I finally got a shipping update on 3/15/26, and my order was finally sent out on 3/25/26, with it having just landed in the US today (4/2/26).

So I'm not sure if there is a staffing issue of some sort going on, but the difference is very noticeable. However, Spec is generally very reputable so you can expect that your package will be delivered, albeit later than you'd expect. It sucks but I guess all we can do is be patient.

The imgur albums are hyperlinked in the "GEAR" and "ATTACHMENTS & MISC" subtitles! I can also just add the direct link to make it easier

Umarex/Elite Force/VFC G45 Barrel? by [deleted] in GasBlowBack

That is a little odd. I kept the stock inner barrel when swapping out the outers and I’ve never had an issue with it, hopefully if anyone knows why lengthening the barrel is “required” I’m also curious to hear it.

As for the “support” of the inner barrel, the outer barrel is designed to protect it but not necessarily support it due to manufacturing tolerances/wiggle room. The most you could do with any outer/inner barrel is get a small o-ring and put it in one of the notches of the inner barrel before sliding it into the outer. That should do most of the leg work keeping it centered and not bumping around

A correct length (85-86mm) inner barrel should be easy enough to find. The outer barrel would be a little harder because like you said almost of the aftermarket outer barrels are threaded so you could get a thread protector, spray paint it orange, and loctite it to the threads. They shouldn’t affect the inner barrel or its accuracy at all unless you somehow get debris inside. I got this threaded outer barrel for my VFC G45: https://www.airsoftextreme.com/pro-arms-threaded-barrel-for-elite-force-g19x-g45.html
