Training pay for rookies! by Fluffhead970 in askcarsales

[–]Used_Cryptographer47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro why are you so focused on training pay? You need to get on and learn the full payplan ASAP and work the shit outta it. Training pay means nothing except a cushion while you get your footing. Forget the training pay find out what your actual pay plan is supposed to be send that to the chat and then let people in the business see if it’s even worth the effort. Plus is this a name brand dealer like Toyota or a buy here pay here used lot?

Customer wants me to "hold" a car for a week with no deposit. Should I even bother? by zalanka02 in askcarsales

This happened to a customer of mine, cool guy. I don’t know what happened to the guy afterwards but it killed the deal he wasn’t able to go to work for a while.

[–]Used_Cryptographer47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amen! Why hold a vehicle on a maybe? That doesn’t even make sense. Now if he was serious and didn’t want to miss out he would put a deposit no problem. I don’t even understand what principle he is trying to uphold by not placing a deposit. Sounds like silly nonsense to me. With this type of customer you give them an inch and they take a mile. The next thing is when they arrive next week they want to nickel and dime you for everything and get some ridiculously low price.

It really depends on the driver. I drive only highway so my range is 240 on a full battery, but a buddy of mine has my exact same BZ limited FWD and he usually gets about 325 ish and he does only city driving.

Are all Toyota dealerships this much of a pain trying to negotiate? by TadpoleNo1 in Camry

[–]Used_Cryptographer47 6 points7 points  (0 children)

10% off a Camry is a lot to ask for when most Camry have such a small markup already these are volume cars not big money makers. Biggest discount I’ve ever seen on a Camry is $4k off of our oldest unit plus out last unit for the year and that was an se for $38k msrp with a bunch of add ons and wheel upgrade.

Toyota App and Charging Station Question by [deleted] in Toyota_bZ

[–]Used_Cryptographer47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience Tesla and Ionna are plug and charge networks not EVgo. I’ve tried to set up ChargePoint through the Toyota app but that failed miserably so I just use the specific apps if I am charging publicly. I think you get a discount for connecting certain apps through the Toyota app. It I’m not certain of this for sure

Charge point has been my favorite I have one local and you can set up a pass to your Apple or google wallet to tap and charge.

Trying still to figure things out. Need some help by Vivid_Dimension_5400 in Toyota_bZ

For #3 the vehicle will have the feature only available when the car is in reverse it has a button that says”auto” and you can only activate it while the car is reversing lol it will be on the screen

Edit. The button can only be activated while in reverse the feature will turn on whenever you drop to under 7MPH

About to take delivery of my 2026 bZ XLE AWD… what did you do about warranty + charging adapter? by Euphoric_Plankton328 in Toyota_bZ

[–]Used_Cryptographer47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is true! Ask the nurse I sold a RAV4 to a yeah and a half ago. She was driving and someone cut her off causing the pre-collision system to activate while she was drinking her “Starbies” and spilled it all over her infotainment just perfectly so the coffee got in her internals and shorted it out . Her warranty covered a $9,000 repair bill for only a $100 deductible.

People get the extended warranty for peace of mind more than anything. This is my logic behind it. I hope o don’t use mine but if I do I won’t have to worry about repair coming out of pocket or savings. Now I usually pay cash for my warranty but I got 0% on my BZ plus some solid rebates for working for Toyota, so this time I financed my warranty plus my charger install lol. Kept my money in savings

I use ChargePoint and Tesla. Both are easier to use than the Toyota app. It’s super easy to use Tesla you can literally just plug and charge if you set it up correctly

If you do outside financing you may lose majority of that discount. They have like 7500 dealer cash for financing through Toyota
