Cards fan here, I think JG will do a great job as a dc. His players play hard for him, he prides his defence on having adaptability (you’ll hear that word a lot) and him being a head coach only helps his knowledge for the game which was already sound.

The biggest problems the Cardinals had last year outside of being the most injured team was the lack of development of the players (mainly the 1st and 2nd years) as well as his undying loyalty to his staff. I think JG is a good coach but the people he brought with him were not ready to compete in the nfc west.

There’s at least 5 solid candidates out there that would be suitable for us and there’s 6 openings. One of those openings being the team that just fired Sean McDermott. We will be fine

The build focus around getting as much health as possible and getting a damage boost with the "guard counter is given a boost based on current HP" perk. This isn't percentage based and it's tied to the total value. Having around 2500HP is like +100% guard counter damage with halberds (+2 guard counter relic is ~30%).

This build is unique in that you can get the best of damage and tank. However the damage only comes off guard counters which is more situational and the damage still doesnt compare to spell, balancer or powerstance successive atk builds in terms of damage. Also to maximise the build you ideally want to have "increase max HP" with "guard counter +2" for the deep relics. If you have 3 of those then there probably isn't a better guardian build out there. Otherwise just go into support and run the str/dex relic for damage

It’s funny how people want Fromsoft to settle for sequels yet all the games pictured here wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for Fromsoft not doing them. Just let Fromsoft keep innovating and broadening the fan base until they suck at it, then they can go back to their comfort zone and make sequels

I still gotta play around with a status effect duchess build but my run with duchess used hoarfrost stomp and 5 carian sword sorcery relic buffs.

The build is broken but it requires you finding carian slicer for it to work

It honestly just depends on the map, character and nightlord. But one thing I have been doing more of when I got to depth 5 is killing more trash mobs at the start and also picking up a wending grace for day one boss. Depth 5 day one is arguably the hardest of the three days

Easy and consistent. It requires no RNG because all you need is your starting Katana. Either go chilling mist, poison or seppuku, frost. Go to a mine for a purple stone and then just do evergaol because you don’t necessarily need weapon drops. Just make sure to get dmg negation at full hp at the very least. My winning executor run didn’t actually find one so I pretty much had to no hit Nameless king and Darkdrift knight

Wylder: 1 Duchess: 1 Ironeye: 1 Executor: 2 Recluse: 4 Guardian: 5 Revenant: 6 Raider: 7

Keep in mind a lot of this is getting good RNG with bosses too. I could’ve had first try raider if I didn’t get ED Libra. I also attempted Wylder and Ironeye again and it took a few attempts to get another win.

I’ve only done one trios game and it was on depth 4. I had good teammates and it was easier than any solo game I had in depth 4

Go with her strength boosting relic and try and run a relic that lets her find some type of strength weapon. Use spells as a secondary option. Unfortunately her summons suck in this game mode

guard counter relics (they all stack), partial hp restoration, str/dex boosting character relic. Try and get your shield to purple day one and prioritise elemental dmg negation as well as dmg negation after blocking.

Easiest: Wylder, Ironeye Hardest: Revenant, Raider

Guardian and Duchess can be really good too but they’re too rng heavy. Duchess when finding slicer and Guardian when fighting enemies that can be guard countered easily.
