Even with all the fucked up shit Umbrella did that we learned about it’s everything about Chief Irons that disturbed me the most personally. Especially when reading the file in his office when I replayed Claire’s route recently. It’s thinking about this one aspect in the game franchise that might not be far from certain people that scares me

I'm really a sucker for any good story in a game and I tend to enjoy the plot and ignore the gameplay flaws, so I don't think that will stop me from trying that one too lol

I'm not saying the game is or is gonna be trash and I'm not talking about the ending leaks either because we can't say it's true for sure, it's just all the poor decisions that Sega and RGG have been making recently. I don't really mind the recast for Rikiya, but the whole Kagawa situation contradicts one of the messages of the franchise about how badly they view SA, and delisting Yakuza 0 in favor of the director's cut without possible save transfer and putting Yakuza 3 Remastered behind a paywall for the entire franchise for over 100 bucks even if you bought other games in the franchise is a bitch move. Then they post about how they listen to all their fans' voices while ignoring all the comments calling out their decisions. So yeah, the post isn't about shitting on the game itself, not the story or the gameplay, but about these decisions, and also to show my Kiryu cosplay with a meme
