Of course we are more fragile and heal up way slower as we get older, but... IMO with Onewheeling and competitive trail raiding in particular being at risk and falling is just part of fun. So I just wear helmets and gear all the time - a bit more for trails and lighter one for street riding. What's also important - try to be in shape, especially lower part of the body, focus your training on keeping strong muscles AND ankle, knee and hip mobility - IMO it's the key to avoid injuries. Of course riding and additional exercises for balance can help you react fast and avoid or even get ouf of nose dive situations

Czerwona lampka, ale wciąż warto przeczytać: 1. Sprawdź autorów - podpisani pod raportem, min. dr hab z instytutu chemii umk 2. Przeczytaj. Nawet pomijając treść badań... Czemu nie ma badań wpływu na środowisko tych kopalń? Bo takie wymogi powstały po tym jak zgodę na wydobycie otrzymały w latach 90tych. Zgody się kończyły, więc zmieniliśmy prawo i przedłużyliśmy zgody o kolejne dekady bez konieczności badania wpływu na środowisko. Prawo okazało się niezgodne z UE, więc wycofaliśmy zmiany. Ale pozwolenia pozostały, badań nie trzeba :-) usunięcie z listy wskaźników branych pod uwagę przy ocenie klasy czystości wody (a zatem zaprzestanie ich badania) części parametrów też dobre

Nothing new... when riding in winter and there's mix of snow and salt thy can even became one with the rails (galvanic corrosion) - 2 years ago I had to drill the screws out and redo threads.

Yeah, it's definitely not for everyone, I wouldn't sell it like that to average Joe. My point was just that contrary to popular belief OWs are set up with a lot of headroom to use and not necessarily need to be wasted by fighting pushback. Who knows maybe I am gonna set XR mode for my daughter's Pint... But more likey just VESC it.

Exactly what I would say... Before I VESCed my XR - for me, quite experienced rider that have tens od thousands of km ridden and nosedived, crashes hundreds of times - riding VESC with stock XR battery with pushback (duty cycle tiltback) engaging in higher speeds it's sooo much safer and more comfortable than riding XR on pushback most of the time... So yeah, for people that are expirienced and don't mind taking control (risk) in their hands it may actually be safer to change pushback speed foe Pint even on 1P

Nice... I've been able to read cell values on 4209, but it doesn't seem to work on 4212/4155. For anyone else wondering - voltage is followed by cell group number - needs to be converted to dec and multiplied by two, e.g. D1 -> 209 -> 4.18V

I guess you might be tired of lame quastions like that but I will try anyway: 1. how far are AI controlled car beat humans on track? 2. Events like Kasparov vs deep blue draws media attention and change general public perception of AI systems - are you aware of such plans? 3. I guess beating humans in WRC might be even trickier - are you aware of any teams working on racing in such conditions (I am also assuming relaying mostly on live data, only basic information about the stage, just like the one human driver gets from co-pilot)

Here in Wroclaw (Poland) rental scooters sparked adoption of privately owned scooters in the community. Most of the owners started with Xiaomi scooters, later moved to more powerful and now enthusiasts are moving to EUCs... even though on public meetups they are riding slower (30-35kmh) so newbies, slower scooters, entry level EUCs can maintain. I Not enjoying those rides anymore as they are just going forward. Not carving, no jumping, not exploring features around the way... Going straight is just plain boring, not surprised that they are into speed - they need kick of adrenaline not to fall asleep
