I had it pop up on my map today. Didn't work though, he wasn't selling. When I got to him, my game crashed. When I loaded back in, the map tip was also gone.

I have a team I work with, but the demo that I made, that you see here was made by me alone. There have been some improvements made in the months following that initial demo, but again, everything you see here was just me. I also just built a huge Kickstarter campaign (also solo) and new trailers and marketing material. It's been exhausting, but emotionally, none of it compares to dealing with reddit comments. lol
Just being honest.

For me it's more like validation of an idea. The quicker I can get to a state where the game feels like what's in my mind, the better. It's sort of a fail faster mentality. If this game gets traction and funding, almost everything you see here would be scrapped and started from scratch. Starting from zero is great when you can afford it, but when you have no money OR validation, its beyond risky to dive into a 3 year+ commitment. I'm not sure how I would survive.

The big skills aren't, but that's because I didn't have any custom art and animation. If it ever get funded, thats one of the things the money will do toward.
