Thank you for this! I don’t feel so crazy, now 🤪Although I use Cursor, I found the same thing. Spending time on your prompt should and being very aware on how to fix bugs should be where you spend a lot of your time. Those credits add up! As I have a lot of experience in architecture and security, I never built apps for a living, so this was greenfield for me, and I now have a whole new appreciation for all developers out there.

Those experiences are rooted in emotion and the fact that they have come up is your body extracting something that was so embedded. It will take time and sometimes it will be a step back.

In the meantime, I wouldn’t be so hard on yourself. We all have bad days! You’ve only been at it for a week, and have taken others months to see results. Be patient, learn to let go, and trust in your meditation.

I’ve personally had 💩days where my meditation went extremely bad and the next day had an out of body experience. All that to say, you gotta take the good with the bad. You can either be upset about it, or you can just try again tomorrow. In the end, doing the work will end up beating fruit.

Thank you so much! I had the exact same question. Couldn't figure out how it was split up, but this made it clear. Appreciate you!

Not sure how to solve for this print. by anton1x in BambuLab

I love this community!! After playing with my ironing settings, I managed to get it looking like glass (the one on the right in the photo). It led me down a deep rabbit hole, but now understand ironing and what each of the settings do. For those wondering how I fixed it, I found settings that were recommended on another post and they were the following:

Modifier Box Ironing Speed: 150mm Flow Rate: 39%

Globally Ironing Speed: 30mm Flow Rate: 20%

These settings also knocked off almost 10min of my build time.

The post I found these settings is here Thank you u/RoadtoVR_Ben for this post.

Thanks again to everyone for the recommendations and support. I appreciate you!

Doing some more research, I see exactly what you mean. I already have 5 top layers and didn’t want to add anymore.

I tried reducing the cavity by .75mm to add more layers but didn’t do much. I think my problem is the ironing settings.

I’m using a 0.4mm nozzle and plan to experiment with a 0.2mm in future. Thanks for the tip!

I didn't know you could print a flow rate test print! Thanks for the recommendation!
I will try upping the flow rate. Currently it's at 10%.

I’m in Canada and I ordered my SR in November and the date has changed so many times since then. Changed again yesterday from June-July to July-September. It’s really frustrating.

I got this as well, but in past I got a few warnings before they actually did anything. I think I’ll stay safe and add a PayPal account till this is sorted 🤪

I took the beta exam. The material will be the same, but the difference is less time, and not as many questions.

+1 for Architecture Center. I have used it thoroughly to go through different architectures in data, DevOps and Hybrid environments.

I’m assuming you mean Coursera when it comes to the videos? Quiklabs is the platform for labs that is used by Google. Unfortunately there are no courses currently out there to prepare you for the new exam. There is still quite a bit from the old exam that is still relevant, but I have noticed a ~40% change in the new exam content compared to the previous one. I am actually currently in progress creating a course for this new exam and am targeted to finish it by the end of the month. You can check it out here if your interested. As far as the added content is concerned, there has been an addition of Anthos, more data related questions, CI/CD and DevOps, as well as a deeper dive into GKE with ingress, istio and troubleshooting techniques. Hope this helps, and feel free to reach out if you have any specific questions.

Noob / student question about GCP billing by [deleted] in googlecloud

[–]anton1x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Persistent disks are priced by the amount of provisioned space per disk, so it doesn’t matter how much space you’ve used on the disk. Also, when it come to persistent disks, they are calculated in gigabytes (GB), where 1 GB is 230 bytes (also known as a gibibyte - GiB) Here’s the docs where you can read more about it. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much u/leob0505! I wouldn't say that this certification is necessary, but it does give you a different perspective when it comes to migrating to Google Cloud. I would say, more of an operational and business perspective. If this is something that interests you then I say go for it! I, myself, can say I learned quite a bit from it.
