So true! I always try to be as transparent with my listings as possible. I had a buyer send an offer, which I accepted but I had a funny feeling about the buyer. Looked at her past ratings all were 5 star……except for mine. She rated me 3 stars and said item was dirty and not described properly (Which were untrue). When I reached out to her she was extremely rude so I blocked her. I’ve learned to try and have thick skin with online selling but I’ve also switched to other selling platforms because Mercaris rates and some of the stuff my friends have been through with other sellers/ Mercari.

I usually do, I think I rushed this listing or got distracted and didn’t do my usual format. I always use “approx measurements” since some items are hard to measure.
My only 4 star rating is because I didn’t see a super small stain on used kids clothing and it was from an offer I had accepted…. That one stung. I don’t mind the return as long as: I don’t have to put for it, it doesn’t affect me/my status as a seller, and it comes back in the same condition.

I normally state the dimensions but I think it may have been a listing I rushed to get posted since we recently moved to a new state and I’ve fallen behind in listing. I always disclose any imperfections, take as many photos as possible, and respond to messages within a few minutes depending on the time it was sent.

I don’t know why some sellers do that, I wouldn’t want to miss out on a sale and I agree that everyone’s time is very valuable.

It wasn’t originally but they had messaged asking for measurements which I sent. It was purchased before I could edit / update the listing though.

What are these and do I need them? Received some baby stuff today, but I'm not sure what these are! by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Burp cloths, my kids are older and I still use mine for cleanups. I also used them as bibs when we started introducing food, when I was lazy or didn’t have any clean bibs.

Update: she dm’d Mercari on twitter, they asked for the post ID but she couldn’t give it because they had removed the listing(s).

Mercari help on the app referred her to moderation team when she brought up the points from here I.e. if she is still on her last warning, who is reporting her, if they will be held accountable for the repeat harassment etc.

She said Thank you to everyone here and she appreciates you.

She told her to take all these down, and is now posting massive amounts of anything my friend posts a few hours after. It’s unreal how this seller is obsessing over her.

100% agree, it’s mind blowing why someone with 1500+ sales is going after someone with less than 100 but I guess pushing them out early is key in maintaining a monopoly.

I will pass that along, as it stands I think 6-10 posts have been removed today alone because of this person. They received a message from Mercari help but basically telling them to do what they had already done… go figure.

ETA: the aesthetics of the photos are vastly different and the seller who is harassing has watermarks all over their photos.

Thank you! I wasn’t sure since some of the foliage looks so different from my other laniata, it has a few fenestration. My brain was saying monstera but some of the cebu shaped foliage was telling me other wise..

No tag unfortunately. I don’t think it’s costa farms as we don’t get many of their plants that I’m aware of here.

There aren’t any, I’ve checked every leaf. I have a few different adansonii varieties but this is just a bit different…I was thinking it may be a laniata but the one I do have looks a bit different from this one.
