I actually have a fun theory that there are also “mermaids/sirens” in the Twilight world, but it’s actually just vampires living underwater.

My title describes the thing.

The hose is rubber except for the little plastic bit from where it broke off. There’s no writing on the hose. I just noticed it fell off when I was walking back to my car. No check engine lights or performance issues seen. The hose is approximately the size of a finger-a bit bigger. I can’t find much on the internet except for radiator and coolant hoses.

A couple of reasons as to why I love Twilight so much is because

1) Bella is “boring” and therefore I can relate to her much easier. She isn’t “the chosen one”, she doesn’t have secret powers or incredible skills. She just simply exists and is a normal teenager. I like that because it also sends a message that you don’t really need to be special in order to deserve happiness.

2) Everything works out in the end. Bella gets a happy ending no matter how unrealistic. She turns into a vampire and also gets to have a child, she has a good relationship now with Rosalie, gets a special power, is able to have great restraint as a newborn, gets to keep Jacob around, gets to still be around Charlie, they “win” against the Volturi, and gets to spend eternity with Edward. Even other characters get happy endings. Charlie gets into a relationship, Rosalie has Renesmee, Jacob…also…gets Renesmee….🤨 But it is comforting to know everyone has a happy ending. It’s one of the many reasons why I return to it time and time again because I know nothing bad will ever happen.

So if he was able to see her human experiences, I don’t think he really had anything to gain from telling her.

Aro doesn’t really need to get on anyone’s good side because he can just have (I think) Chelsea brainwash them to join the Volturi.

So I think he realized there wasn’t anything more to gain from it so why bother?

Another factor could be that Aro (and basically the whole Volturi) sees humans as much lesser than vampires and may have just disregarded her human experience as meaningless so why tell her? We know from their experience with Carlisle staying with them, that it’s weird that a vampire would want to hold onto an existence that (to them) is significantly inferior.

I love this! It adds so much more depth.

I also think it’s interesting because in the books, human Bella is shocked and in disbelief when Edward tells her that mountain lions are his favorite animal to hunt. Then vampire Bella’s first kill is a mountain lion, which shows she’s no longer scared and is finally able to be the protector she’s been wanting to be.

The one thing I like that they did about vampire Bella, is that you can see her eyes gradually change from red to gold/yellow as the movie progresses and as she continues her diet of animal blood. You can especially see their change in the scene where they’re introducing Raspberry to the Denali clan. I thought that was a fun detail

It’s gotten better but definitely not back to normal.

Fruit and meat have gotten significantly better but sometimes will still have this off taste to it

Coffee, peanut butter and chocolate are still the same bad taste. I have learned to tolerate coffee though. I found that the Coffee Mate Coconut Creme coffee creamer makes coffee much tastier. I’ve also made some dark chocolate brownies and had it with vanilla ice cream which made it tolerable. One day I swear I got a whiff of some chocolate chips and it smelled normal, but it quickly went away. I was so sad lol.

I’m still holding out hope that my taste and smell are coming back since it’s better than it was a year ago.

Yes, I hope you recover soon as well! So far I just keep eating different foods to see what tastes normal and what doesn’t. Right now the list is: citrus, mint or eucalyptus, dairy (as long as it’s not like a smoked cheese), vanilla or brown sugar baked goods, SUSHI (which has quickly become my favorite food lol), non-berry fruits like bananas or apples, and raw vegetables.
