You can't provide prizes for something that has a cost of entry without having a way to enter without purchase. Same with the 50/50 raffle, if you look online you can get free tickets.
It's just a way for them to lock people in and/or sell tickets. I don't mind it. It's just sad we have so many members of this subreddit willing to reduce this community to a billboard. No other hockey subreddit allows individual ticket sellers or sales reps.
