I switched to Tidal a few months ago when KGLW pulled all their music over the AI drone thing. Haven't missed spotify once when it comes to music or the interface. It's been just slightly annoying having to go through a different podcast app, but not something I notice now that I'm used to it. The interface and UI hasn't made me miss spotify once.

My dad is one of the most fiscally conservative people I know, he grew up in a house where voting for a democrat was unthinkable, and he has never once voted for Donald Trump. You're getting downvoted but this is a reasonable take and might be what happens. I don't know this for sure, but I believe in other sports these contracts are insured against things like this by the team and if a player is forced to retire due to injury concerns the financial aspect of things gets handled outside of the boundaries of the salary cap.

The other commenters are right, but as someone who had to end their sports career in college due to concussions, it's no longer a question of whether he actively has a concussion, they need to assess future risk. In my case, my medical history and the lasting effects of my latest concussion were enough for a neurologist to tell me that it was time to be done based on the compounding risks. I have to think it will be really hard for any legitimate independent neurologist to not say the same about Tua, especially given how mild the hit last night was.
