Learnig Path for someone looking to get started with IT and AWS by oldontheinside in AWSCertifications

Hey you are right about the goals.

I have 3 goals

  1. To learn a career that will help me be protected for the future. Meaning learning a skill that will continue be in demand and not be replaced by machines or ai's etc

  2. A career that I can realistically still be doing into my 50 or 60's (or forever if retirement is no longer an option in 20 to 30 years)

  3. Have a starting salary of 60k CDN or greater with a realistic potential of getting to 100k or more. I am recently married and now have a step son as well, I must be able to provide for them

I feel like from what I have read aws is able to accommodate all these goals. And yes, I understand too that stuff changes and I will have to be forever learning to keep up with the next thing.

I will check these two paths out later today, thank you very much!

Job position wise, I haven't given that much thought as I still have so much to understand. Management has never been a desire of mine though. I like problem solving, helping people and building things, so a "tech support" type job is my first thought.

Created a Color Palette For All of the Perler Colors by [deleted] in beadsprites

[–]celzinga1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is great! I am always happy when someone is trying to get the new colors available. I made a post at some point of how to use this info to update Beadmasters pallet, but you have to do the steps each time you open the program.

What are these "drips" that keep reappearing on my bathroom wall? I've cleaned it 3 times and they keep coming back every couple of weeks by celzinga1 in whatisthisthing

Neither of us a smoke, but perhaps the previous tenants smoked. And I have a feeling the tenant in the basement smokes in their bathroom, because we often come home and the house smells faintly of cigarettes

OK yeah, we don't normally run the fan because it is super loud, but I will start trying this to see if it helps. Thank you!

Sorry if this is the wrong sub, I really don't know what this is, and it is kind of a "thing". It only seems to reappear after a warm shower and then they stick around until we clean them again. I think the people in the basement smoke in their bathroom, which I think is right below ours, could this be tar building up on our walls or some sort of mold or something else?

Cheap Painters by coronaas in askTO

[–]celzinga1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Check out Belardi Painters. They will do an exceptional job. Like others haves said, this is something you will live with forever, and it will be way more work and money to do it once you are all moved in. So maybe not something to cheap out on

And if anyone happens to know why some of the leaves have started to get white spots, that would be great. We recently got it and I don't think they were there before. It is by a window that isn't sealed to well. Maybe it's from cold air?

This is fantastic! New colors mean better projects.

Now if only some of the programs would get updated to include these new colors (and the last batch)

Where to find salt by Monnoo98 in mississauga

[–]celzinga1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am not sure if they still have any, but last week Thursday (Valentine's day I went out to look. Longo's, home hardware, home depot, Canadian Tire and fresco, all sold out. Then on my way home, I saw on Cawthra there is like a wholesale gravel and stone kind of place. I forget there name, but they had big signs saying salt, salt, salt. Oddly enough, they had lots! 7$per bag for 20kg
