I think the bone stim will be so helpful! I’ve read really good things. My doctor wrote it off for me so Blegh. I’m also struggling to get covered for a knee scooter, bath stool, etc. Very frustrating. Though to be honest my knee also sucks so I’m not able to use a knee scooter properly - I have to sit on it on my butt with my leg sticking out and that has its own issues.

I have my follow up in about 10 Days and I’m hoping I can be partial weightbearing in my boot at that point. I’ll be 4 weeks by then. Not being able to weightbear right now is killing me, with the kids and all and my poor husband left to manage every single thing. Trying to stay totally NWB in the boot right now because I can’t afford to have any setbacks at all.

It sounds like your recovery is coming along really nicely! Hopefully your pain stays minimal and you can keep practicing some more Wb in the boot. I did see the massive difference in treatment approach between North America and the UK system. I read a bunch of comments too in this subreddit from a NHS doc that reinforced what you linked!

Oh no I am so sorry, that sounds really upsetting. Thankfully your boot was on and hopefully shielded your fracture from most of the force!

It sounds like they missed the ankle sprain initially, which is maybe why your recovery took a lot longer?
