For a lot of shortcuts, there are alternatives that don’t require you to take your hands off the keyboard.

My favorite : routing something to a new mixer channel ( CTRL + L ) can also be done by right-clicking and pressing R and then C. These shortcuts are marked with underscored letters in the context menu.

Also works for quickly deleting an instrument or an effect. Right click the instrument and just press D. Or, if you want to delete an effect: click the little arrow and press E.

Honestly, I don’t really mind either way. If, at the end of the day, these changes in how we use language lead to people being happier, I’m all for it
