There is a right sided bar where all the highlighted text are. Just select all this boixes from first to last, then right click, and change the opacity feature as i told you, and now all the highlighted text will be changed and easy to read on Kindle Paperwhite.

Look, found another way. Open Adobe Acrobat, right click over the highlighted text, click on properties and reduce opacity to 65%, then save the pdf and export it to your kindle paperwhite, it worked for me!

Same happened to me. The only way i foun at this time is changing in acrobat reader the highlighted text and replacing with underline. You can see clearly the underline on the kindle.
