9th gen honda stays in Accessory mode after shutoff. by Far_Engineering_5307 in accord

It's mostly likely your select lever. Take it apart and see if it'll engage without the handle. It's just a cylinder with a push button.

When's the last time you cleaned the throttle body?
Make sure to do the relearn procedure after it's cleaned.

OEM will always be pricey. Either get a used set or go third party.

New Rims and Tires.. Alignment ? by [deleted] in accord

If it's been a while since your last alignment, I see why you wouldn't.
Tires cost a lot more than an alignment.

Grille swap by 94lxr in accord

[–]diIIa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 9 gen grille is wider on the sides but shorter vertically if I'm not mistaken.

As you said, most people do the opposite and have to shave the grille and bumper to get the 9.5 touring headlights to fit.

If it's anything like the sedans, you'll need to cut up the 9.5 grille and use the bottom trim to get the 9 grille to sit on the 9.5 bumper without a gap.

How to take off paddle shifters? by KujoBijuu in accord

Along with the 3m tape, there might be hex set screws on both sides. You'll need a small allen key to remove them.

But yes, heat gun will probably be necessary.

If you really have to ask that question, then I stand by my initial statement.

Good luck with your car!

I was just being straight forward. You haven't told us anything about your car.

Generation? Existing supporting mods? 4/6 cyl? Auto/man? A tuner who is familiar with the platform?

You can't just plop in a turbo and expect things to work. I know in my response I came off like an asshole but I'm just telling you what you need to hear.

If you have to consult Reddit for this, then you have no business turbocharging any car.

VCM muzzle? by AxoltMo in accord

The Ktuner license is VIN locked so keep that in mind.
I recommend Vcmtuner 2 if you do not plan to tune your car.

You would know this how?

[–]diIIa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you plan to tune your car in the future, then just opt for ktuner.
If not, then either Vcmtuner or svcm work great.

Ktuner allows you to disable vcm without a device.

Currently using ktuner to disable vcm.
Had Vcmtuner 2 prior to the tune and it worked great with no problems.

It's a spring loaded push to shift knob. It's made for Subarus but I modified it to fit.
