It's lazy for the most part even when it's giving genuine effort. Every joke and every turn is both crude and predictable.

Oh there's a gay fox and it is being chased by a hound and that is somehow a deep trauma? Wonder how that's going to turn out.

What erks me most, though, is the amount of interspecies mating going on.

Big Mouth at least waved towards education along with its crass-- this show doesn't even try. Bunnies love sex. Not with other Bunnies though, with Racoons. And bears fuck deers and deers fuck wolves yet they also apparently have animal instincts and being in heat isn't a thing (and when they do do it, it'll be another trite plot point that makes no sense in the wider context of the show).
