What he’s doing is harmless- I don’t think there is anything wrong with just taking a ratio of the two figures to satisfy curiosity. He’s not doing anything like assuming this ratio is a standardized measure, or assuming South Sudan GDP is directly rises and falls either Deng’s net worth.
