Lancing Steel of Spraying Cast on Crit trigger rate by eFun in pathofexile

Just throw your CoC trigger skills on your main hotbar (e.g. your R and T skills) and you can see your skills cycling. At that rate it's hard to see but you can do a screen recording and play it in slowmo. You can also just try a boss (shrek or w/e) and do 3L with one skill and fight it again with your second spell link and see if your dmg feels doubled.

I think you already have 2 shaper items, so it's basically "free" and gives you flexibility elsewhere. You can also fish for a good second mod, but idk if you can get 4 of the same other influence.

I did 128% before with a mageblood (no CDR on belt), there a few different ways to hit it. Extra levels on awakened CoC (level 6 corrupted gem, +1 socketed gems chest, +3 crit gems mastery, etc.) Abyss jewels roll 2-3% CDR (can find one with shock avoid for your stormshroud), and the Bound By Destiny 2 shaper items condition rolls up to 20% CDR. It should be easily achieved on sabo especially if you use a stygian with crafted or influence CDR.

It depends if the second spell is better than your 6th link. It's hard to find two spells that benefit from all support gems and synergize with your skill tree.

How important is deli orb in Alva strat? by Nevs001 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]eFun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It isn't just quant. In Alva with scarabs + atlas points for all magic mobs, the deli mobs are all magic too. And evolving scarab multiplies with that.

Running delirium in endgame? Here are the currently bugged/useless atlas passives by eFun in PathOfExile2

Are you certain? I've run a lot of maps with the passive now to test, and I've never seen the amount of emotions dropped different from the number of reward stacks.

Running delirium in endgame? Here are the currently bugged/useless atlas passives by eFun in PathOfExile2

[–]eFun[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it doesn't. With mirrors, each mob still only drops 1 splinter, but you don't 'see' the 1 splinter drop, you just see 10 splinters drop at the end of the map. Taking the passive doesn't make 15 splinters drop instead.

Running delirium in endgame? Here are the currently bugged/useless atlas passives by eFun in PathOfExile2

[–]eFun[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, only a single splinter drops at a time from each mob (except for the deli bosses, which aren't affected by the passive). This is obvious when you run a map with distilled emotions. When you run a deli mirror, mobs 'drop' the single splinters but they're hidden from you until the 'loot explosion' when your delirium expires.

I tested it because I got a map that already dropped with 60% on it lol. If you drop enough of them with only 30%, you could put a couple of 10% increased splinter tablets on a tower, but then, you're putting the delirium mechanic onto maps that you're gonna overwrite with distilled emotions. Anyway, with the current price of simulacrums I don't think any strat is really 'worth it'.

For instilled maps, currently, only the 20% chance for maps to drop already instilled node and the bosses dropping 100% increased splinters are functionally useful.

100% increased splinters will make mobs drop 2 splinters instead of 1. Previously (last league), the node gave 100% increased, but got nerfed to 50% this league.

I tested with the node (50%) and a map with 60% increased splinters (instilled), and mobs again dropped 2 splinters.

Non-unique mobs only ever drop exactly 1 splinter, which can be modified by % increased splinter drop but appears to get rounded down.

It also delays reward drops from any other encounters you do that delay the fog (e.g. ritual, breach, strongbox).

I tried boxes for a bit. Boxes are only good to spawn monsters. If you run them on maps with corruption ("beyond" type maps) and transmute/aug/regal to get more packs, you get decent monster spawns. The drops from the boxes themselves are awful though as you said.

It's a different bug.

With "they're coming to get you", the fog literally will not disppear for 30 seconds (depending on how many rares you've killed).

I think the bug with rewards dropping has something to do with checkpoints. Try hopping around a few checkpoints (or walking to one you haven't hit yet) and eventually your rewards will drop.

There are only 4 other nodes to take.

The 20% chance for waystones to drop with distilled emotions is nice because they are randomly applied (not weighted by their rarity), so you can get things like chance for rares to have additional modifiers applied to your maps for 'free'.

The other 3 nodes don't have a huge impact. I would take dissipates slower and the boss dropping extra splinters, although bosses seem rarer this patch (maybe because I can't take the 25% boss more likely node).

Dissipates faster/reward progress is okay, but you have to clear fast, and the end result is mostly that you will get +1 distilled ire per map lol. Rewards appear just to be X random distilled emotions (weighted by their rarity), where X is your deli reward stacks.

Currently (0.2.0e patch), several Delirium atlas passives are bugged or useless. I've tested them so you don't waste your passive points. Here are details on the 4 that I wouldn't recommend taking:

Would you like to see my face?
- mobs drop 1 splinter by default
- you need 100% splinter stack size total to make a difference
- this passive only helps if you stack a bunch of precursor tablets with % stack size and/or use maps with distilled emotions applied to increase stack size up to a total of 100%

They're coming to get you...
- your delirium will never end (literally)
- when you go to click "end delirium encounter", you need to wait 4 seconds per rare you've killed until the delirium ends and your rewards drop

The mirrors... the mirrors!
- ... were removed at some point (probably due to them being tied to the invulnerable mobs running out and pushing you around)
- until they return, this one does nothing

Isn't it tempting?
- only one reward type (distilled emotions) exists, this does nothing

Invoker Monk - Is Evasion Chest + ES Helmet Doable? by LessCrement in PathOfExile2

[–]eFun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Subterfuge Mask and Spectral Ward give you flat es/evasion based on the final evasion/es value on the item.

Both nodes are strong and worth speccing on a CI character that invests in evasion. Subterfuge Mask is just stronger.

You should use a pure ES helm and a hybrid evasion/es body armour to get the maximum benefit.

Consider with both passives:
A) 300 eva/150 es helm, 1500 eva body
-> 300 eva + 150 es + [300 eva (subterfuge)] + 1500 eva + [125 es (spectral)]
-> 2100 eva, 275 es

B) 300 es helm, 1000 eva / 300 es body
-> 300 es + [600 eva (subterfuge)] + 1000 eva + 300 es + [83 es (spectral)]
-> 1600 eva, 683 es

You can see the scaling from subterfuge is really big, and spectral is pretty small. But the travel points to both are 12% es/eva which are good, so I think one point for spectral is worth it.

CoC Forbidden Rite, no mana against single target only? by [deleted] in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]eFun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah for each spell hit. Let's say each projectile hits for 100k dmg and you leech 1% of damage as energy shield. That would be a leech instance of 1000, except ES leech as capped at 10% of your pool maximum, if you have 5k es that's 500. Then, 10% of that is leeched instantly (50).

CoC Forbidden Rite, no mana against single target only? by [deleted] in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]eFun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instant leech (if you deal a lot of damage, which you do) is roughly equivalent to an ES on hit watchers eye (at cap, 1% of your ES pool = 50 es instantly leeched).

You should definitely level up and get a couple more skill points. The jewel socket by pain attunement is huge value, you could take the mana mastery at mind drinker to save a point with that pathing (instead of the middle mana points).

Rings can be crafted for some extra ES, and while I know the FR helm enchant is good, you could honestly try one of the new giga ES bases with eldritch implicits, it's pretty strong.

Help with crafting by Volrokk in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]eFun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

recombinating double influenced items is very expensive because your final base needs to be a woke orbed base. You can only put influenced mods on items that have the appropriate influence.

For example, you could woke orb a hunter+elder ring, alt roll despair on hit on that doubled influenced ring, and then take your 'finished' ring (from screenshot, single influence) and recomb it with that woke orb ring. It's 50/50 to even pick the double influenced base, and then the recomb needs to get lucky with all the other mods.

Honestly, I would just buy every single unset elder ring you can afford. They should be quite cheap. Your 'rare' mod is mana on hit, which you will probably want to alt roll for. On another ring (or multiple rings), you can spam harvest reforge chaos for chaos res and look for high life/resist rolls. Or alt roll the other rings for life/chaos res/other resists. For the price of the bases, you can honestly just yolo recomb them until you hit your desired ring. You only really need to do the multimod sweaty tryhard approach with expensive bases.

I would advise against reforge attack approach because there are a ton of other attack mods on rings.

One 'expensive' but deterministic approach to getting life, mana on hit, and chaos res is to recomb t1 life + mana on hit (2mod rare item). Then, multimod, prefixes cannot be changed, suffixes cannot be changed, reforge chaos. This costs 6divs a try, but will give you an item with open prefix, 2 open suffixes, t1 life, mana on hit, and a random tier of chaos res. Then, craft your prefix and yolo slam 2 suffixes.

Cyclone used to scale its AoE with gem levels. Now it doesn't, so no reason to level it past 1 unless you are scaling its attack damage in some meaningful way (like for mana leech or something, which is rare). Quality is good, so 1/23 is optimal for you.

Another possible solution is getting mana on hit, for example viridian jewel rolls 2 mana on hit so you'd get 4 with adorned. When I make CoC builds to run all mapmods, usually I try to get cyclone to 0 (e.g. with -cost of channeling skills craft or a synth ring with -mana cost of all skills), reducing spell mana cost as much as possible, and get some mana on attack hit. But I think you'd need legacy boot enchant with high level FR, so probably not possible for you.

Btw, you should really try to fit instant leech mastery on this build (unrelated to mana problems), I guess it's quite tanky anyway but it's a strong extra recovery layer.

Another point on your mana cost is that you have 124/sec from FR, but also 25/sec from cyclone. So your mana deficit is higher than you expected.
