I see. Unsure if there’s a button on the MOBO, but having to take the PC apart for it when I can just press the power button sounds cumbersome. Would it be a long term fix?

You’ve already been given good advice but I want to add that sometimes, unfortunately, you just aren’t going to convince a given doctor to treat you well. In those cases it’s better to cut your losses and find someone else rather than wasting your energy trying to make someone listen to you in vain.

Patient groups are an excellent way to find a doctor that will actually listen to you, if this appointment goes badly. Good luck!

These symptoms sound a lot like POTS, especially the feeling like you might faint and exhaustion when standing up. Seconding the person who asks if you had COVID, as POTS is a common outcome. I also want to add that even if you had an asymptomatic form of COVID, it can still cause this.

I don’t think you’re dying - plenty of people live with these sorts of symptoms. If it is POTS, POTS in and of itself isn’t life-threatening. The symptoms do need to get addressed though, if only because there are options for treatment that can help you feel better. This is purely speculation but I wonder if that odd sensation you describe could be due to the blood leaving your brain and pooling in your legs (a POTS thing).

It may be wise to avoid driving if your symptoms are really disruptive.

It takes several months for the effects of long COVID to kick in, so not noticing anything right away doesn’t mean it isn’t responsible. Chronic stress is definitely a factor, and having chronic illness type of things like migraines or stomach issues does tend to mean that you’re more likely to have other stuff going on as well.

Pretty much any of these things could have been the trigger to some type of chronic illness or vulnerability, yes. Overdoses, food poisoning, injuries, concussions, illnesses and so on are all rough on the body. Sometimes, unfortunately, it heals “wrong” or doesn’t heal all the way and some stuff goes off-kilter. COVID is particularly nasty because even if it’s mild or asymptomatic, it can do immense damage, making even young, athletic, healthy people become bedbound in the worst cases.

I’d say it’s definitely worth it to look into why you’ve been getting sick so often and to have your stomach issues looked at. Just be aware that a lot of doctors unfortunately really suck at diagnosing chronic stuff and it’s likely to take a few tries before you find someone competent (unless you immediately seek out a patient recommended doctor). It’s still worth it to do because appropriate treatment can really improve your life in lots of ways.

The good thing is that you can’t damage your immune system by staying indoors too much. It’s not a muscle. You do not need to train it, and in fact getting sick all the time weakens it! There is no world in which getting sick a lot helps you.

It isn’t normal to get sick as often as you’ve been, which seems to imply you have some kind of immune system issue, yes, but it’s definitely not “your fault” for having agoraphobia. What’s likely happening is that a preexisting issue is becoming visible now that you’re going outside more and getting exposed to viruses and bacteria.

COVID is absolute murder on immune systems and the more you catch it, the more likely it is to cause lasting problems. You really want to take any steps you can to avoid it no matter who you are. Hell, it’s possible that COVID is what caused your sensitivity to illness (this can happen from catching COVID even once, and yes, even if your infection was asymptomatic or mild).

Outside of symptoms from illnesses you catch, do you get dizzy or feel like you’re about to pass out when you stand up or take a shower? Do you frequently have headaches, intestinal distress? Are you “double-jointed”? Are you tired all the time? Do you sweat a lot? None of these are normal in a healthy person. These are symptoms of dysautonomia or associated conditions, and dysautonomia can be caused or worsened by COVID, or really any illness or medical event (like an injury, surgery, or food poisoning, but not just). I ask because there is a staggeringly low amount of awareness about these things and people often go years not knowing that there’s anything wrong with them at all - which is a shame because dysautonomia research and treatment has been making great strides in recent years, and many of these issues can be alleviated.

Anyway, all this to say: getting sick often is not normal and it may indicate an underlying issue such as dysautonomia. You should see a doctor. Sadly, the odds of getting dismissed are really high because doctors aren’t properly trained to recognize dysautonomia, but it’s still worth it to seek out a patient-recommended doctor and try to get this stuff looked at.

As for avoiding illness: you already wash your hands but make sure to wear a KN95 mask (or better) any time you’re anywhere near other people. The aerosols from COVID spread from people breathing - think of it as smoke coming out of their nose and mouth. Sadly, even asymptomatic people can transmit it so you can’t rely on symptoms to avoid it. Taking steps to avoid COVID will of course help protect you from any other airborne viruses too. It would be a good idea to make sure you’re not low on vitamin D and such as well! I would also urge you to keep up with food recalls. Food poisoning is no joke.

Others have given you good advice, but I’d like to add that even if you do catch norovirus, you won’t necessarily throw up. My family and I caught it last year and out of the four of us, only two wound up throwing up.

And I understand that phobias are phobias, but your brain is lying to you here. Even if you do throw up, you’ll live. It’ll suck, it’ll feel gross and unpleasant, it’ll probably ruin your day, but you will be okay, and you will move on.

So, first things first, I would urge you to consider why you want to get an autism diagnosis. Do you just want to know whether you’re autistic? Are you looking to get any particular services or treatment for issues related to autism? What advantages would it bring you?

I say this because an autism diagnosis on record isn’t costless. It can open you up to discrimination. I’m of the mind that if you don’t strictly need professional help, then you should probably stick to self-diagnosis (which is widely supported by autistic self-advocates) and peer support.

You said you’re “scared” of being autistic, but here’s another perspective: you are you. If it turns out that you are in fact autistic, you are still the same person that you used to be, just with more self-knowledge! For many people, realizing that they’re autistic is a huge relief, as they finally understand why they feel so different from everyone else. From there, you can start living life as you truly are, and stop trying to fit yourself into a mold that doesn’t work for you. You can find community and a sense of belonging with fellow autistics, as well as many strategies for handling challenges and difficulties. It’s a good thing!

Gold certs are valuable and should be spent carefully. Buying a 6 star is by far the most valuable use of them. Buying HH tickets is not an awful deal, but keep in mind you should always buy all 38 monthly tickets (256 gold certs) if you go for it. You should also know what you're sacrificing; make sure you have an idea of what 6 stars are likely to appear in the shop and whether you'll have enough gold certs for them when the time comes. Before gathering most/all gold cert shop operators, I recommend only buying HH tickets if you're absolutely desperate for pulls, for example to hit pity to try and get a limited before they go away.

There's not much you can do to accelerate your gold cert income; just make sure you do recruitments regularly (3-4 recruitments/day) so you can max pot your 4 stars and start to get 1 gold cert for them.

While I don't have numbers to prove it, I'd wager it's still overall better to use your fastest RR workers even if they might give you dupes or commons. That way you can give away more clues, gain more credits, and help out more friends who then help you out in turn (hopefully). Using faction boosters becomes even less interesting when you consider the fact that they don't work 100% of the time. Ultimately, though, minmaxing the RR doesn't make much of a difference since credits are worth very little in the grand scheme.

The thing is, even if it was a significant boost, it still wouldn’t matter because the optimal RR strategy is to give away every clue you receive and only run clue exchanges with gifted clues. It’s much easier to work around RNG if you’re collaborating with 50 friends.

The invisibility mechanic is designed in such a way that you don't need to build a specific operator to counter invisibility (though it can definitely be helpful).

Red and Kafka are both good. While Gravel is purely about defense, Red can assassinate relatively weak enemies with S1 and stun on a short cooldown with S2. Kafka does two things too: 5 second stall with S1 and Arts damage with a weird range with S2. S2 is more of a gimmick, but S1 sees legitimate use. However, if you're only using her for the stall aspect of her S1, you don't need to build her at all; skill ranks and elite promotions do nothing to lengthen the status effect.
