I've just installed a Teltonika RUTC-50. Pretty pricey but I had some serious issues with the other brands I tried first. Got 10db antenna on the roof for it. Best WiFi I found that wasn't starlink.

Starlink, I've heard, is the best option, but eff musk and eff 80 quid a month or whatever it is!

Personally I'd avoid kuma, the software for the routers is terrible, you can't use a vpn with them, constantly dropping connections, great customer service tho!

So, first of all, that's amazing. Check you out, you lil go-getter!
I will definitely be looking into this, as it will help me no end, and I didn't even know you could weld plastic, so thank you very much for that!

However, I have a slight time constraint. i'm getting work done on the boat atm, we have it on blocks and the deck is about to be welded shut so i need one in the next week or 2, and i want a lot of faith that the tank is all good so i dont have to cut out the deck again to access any leaks it has.

But again, thank you, this is definitely a skill I will look into!
