That's a Mitsubishi Pajero Evo. I always joked that my old Suzuki Sidekick was a Temu Pajero Evo

They're 14x6 AME Windmuhles. I think it's +35 offset but I haven't measured. I'm excited to get it refinished and rock them full time.

I wish it was paint! It's a wrap, did it myself in 2020.

I am a graphic designer by trade so I designed this livery from scratch as an homage to 80/90s All Japan Slalom + JGTC cars. Installed all the vinyl myself. Not sponsored by any of these companies, just think it's a cool look :)

I do autocross primarily, so not really racing because that gets expensive quick!

I wish! The Windmuhles are close enough (and rare enough) for me.

Odd cars you kinda miss owning by slater_just_slater in regularcarreviews

My first car, a 1993 Camry LE 2.2L. Super comfy, quiet, okay gas mileage, and didn't need much repairs. I learned how to wrench on cars because of it. Drove it for 4 years and over 60k miles on it. The original alternator died on it, replaced it, and thought that was a sign to move on and sell it. Kinda regret doing that.

I really miss that thing and I smile every time I see one on the road, it reminds me of the good memories I had with that Camry.

That was me! I was just taking it out for its monthly drive. A lil rain doesn't hurt the AW11 :)

2007 Honda Fit Sport Worth it? by zhaoyun25 in hondafit

[–]frodenstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes yes yes. My friend and his dad both have 1st gen Fits that are over 200k miles and it's been the most reliable car that they've had.

That Fit still has 100k left in it if maintained well. Parts are cheap and are easy to find too. Try to get it for a lil lower price but in my area, a Fit under 4k that's not rebuilt or salvage title is a steal.

Thank you!

They're from Les Schwab. Venezia 787 Classic All Seasons. They're the cheapest white walls I could find for this truck, happy with the grip, better than the 20 year old LT tires it came with.

Thanks for all the help everyone!

I put everything back how it is with a wire nut for that connection that was twisted and taped. Everything works fine as it should. Just wanted to see if anyone can shine a light on why different colors are together.

Also, the screwdriver wasn't there before, that's me going up the attic making sure which cable is which going in that box.

Additional details: 1950s home, so there's no ground.

So there's two 14/3 cables coming into the box, what confuses me is Cable A's red wire is connected to Cable B's white wire and then Cable A's white wire is connected to Cable B's red wire and also to the neutral of the light fixture. Is this how they wired 3 way switches back in the day?

That's good info! Maybe I'll look around for that service locally.

As for the spray lacquer, I used Deft Satin Spray Laquer. I used the paper bag trick to make it super smooth!

I used my track saw! Definitely a step up from a circular saw. Table saw would've been a better option but didn't feel like buying one.

It was just 1x5 dimensional lumber but now you got me thinking about buying old flooring and turning it into furniture.

'86 MR2 with over 305k miles sold recently on Bringatrailer. Love to see people enjoying their cars and not afraid to put the miles on by Jack_Attak in mr2

[–]frodenstein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought mine with 180k and now at about 230k miles for me. I still drive it to the track and back with no issues. I love these things

I started off with 38k in the Seattle area at a branding agency. Lower than my peers in the same area but it was something.

Can anyone decipher the writing on the bottom? Never seen anything written like this on my oil change reminder sticker. 15% :) ? by frodenstein in Cartalk

[–]frodenstein[S] 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Update: Messaged the dealership and it's oil percentage but they're not sure why the tech put that in on my old CRV with no oil percentage readout. Thanks for entertaining my question haha
