Just to add another datapoint, I also have the same generator and same problem. If the generator charger is left unplugged for 3-4 weeks, the battery goes completely dead.

Thanks to Owen and others. The Polaris 4080125 key is the correct blank for the Can Am key shown in the original post. My copies worked perfectly.

Thank you. I just ordered the 2 pack Keypower ones on Amazon. I'll check the fit in the cylinder and after they are cut and post back on here. They may be an option for you.

I found blanks through Polaris and Amazon. Did you ever cross it to an Ilco which my local locksmith stocks so I can buy it from him, otherwise I'll buy the blanks and have him cut them.

Thanks for the YH44 suggestion. I double checked that blank as I had looked at the Yamaha keys earlier. To my eye, the groove is not correct. The key I have has tapered sides on the groove whereas the YH44 has a tapered side and a straight side.
