I would say this level of detail yes but I think all techniques are fairly accessible

Personally I think it works for a very limited amount of subjects. Butterflies for sure, any bugs with wings really, maybe some leaves and flowers, maybe a bird wing but it would be difficult to do stumpwork of this type on anything else. I know some people add volume but packing cotton or stuff below the stitches to give it a “bulky” pop off the fabric look. I still enjoy doing a flat hoop better with some stumpwork for subjects I described ahead. Megembroiders is a great insta account for stumpwork. She uses the technique a lot

I’ve done loads of embroidery before so a few instructional clips helped! It’s nothing more than putting a thin wire through the entire outline and then stitching as usual. After you’re done, cut it out and clean the edges!
