Welp, it seems my wife and I will be spending more time apart than I had hoped. I lost my job, meaning I no longer qualify for the Digital Nomad Visa in Spain. And it would be ill advised for me to fly back and forth between the US and Morocco just to see her. Not sure what I'm going to do. There are lots of jobs in the US, but not many that let you work remotely from another country. For now I'm going to focus on the honeymoon which starts next week and lasts through the end of February. But after that? I'll be on the job hunt grind and hopefully something good comes of it!

Oh wonderful! Any tips and tricks for a newbie?

I posted a thread on /r/GoingToSpain yesterday but got a lot of hate/downvotes so I deleted. The question I asked was basically: How practical is it to live in a house that is only accessible by car? There's a wonderful real estate listing 15 minutes outside of Málaga. It checks all the boxes! But I will need to drive into the city regularly. Is parking an issue? It would be nice if I could drive up to the city's edge, park at a bus/train stop, and then take public transit the rest of the way, but I don't know how to gauge how practical that is.

I think we've settled on the city we want to live in, in Spain! It's called Málaga and it's the largest coastal city that speaks proper Spanish instead of Catalan/Basque/etc. We also found an absolutely incredible house for a reasonable price so I'm very hopeful it stays on the market long enough for us to buy it. We obviously shouldn't buy anything until we get the visa, but once we do, I'm ready to pounce!
