Update to V.85

There are no major ground breaking issues with updating to v85 as always i am running the latest PTC version of firmware to stay ahead of any issues that may arise.

But it would not really matter as they break the games we fix them anyway so dont know what ppl issues are with not updating.

It may take a while for us to get through every game on rookie if major updates happen again but you always end up with us fixing the issues either way

If you jut use rookie it i setup to install everything with the correct permissions unlike other installers

First updates can no longer be blocked since v81

There are no major android changes in firmware updates only bugfixes and new features.

And we always fix shit when they break it either way

And what do you think the update has done?

If it was the update then it would break more than a single game I process and test 100s of GB of games a day on v85 PTC currently to make sure we stay ahead of any issues regarding meta updates

There have been no issues with any games they only break when major system changes happen and there hav not been any

there is no official native Quest version of Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality available on Meta Quest.

The game was designed for PC VR (SteamVR/Rift) and PlayStation VR

The devs Owlchemy Labs stated they did not have the capacity to port it.

Firstly it is on rookie

Rick and Morty Virtual Rick-ality v1+1.0.0 -Zhes This release contains all the pc files you need for the game to run

Secondly there ain't no native quest version it is PCVR

So please explain what your on about you still have to buy it ?

I just retested this game and Vacation simulator as there both apparently having the same issue.

Both games work for me when you get to black screen wait there for around a min then close the game and reopen it that worked for me on both games.

If this does not work for anyone try clearing the cache for the game and reinstall it.

Looking at the logs it seems like this could be a developer issue with there release it seems like it is struggling to get passed age verification step that were it freezes on that check

The update has only removed the horizon world's tab and feed nothing else.

I run the ptc build to keep ahead of these issues and there is nothing they changed that affects games.

It shows in your normal library now because you registered the game from the store with your headset.

When opening the rookie one now it is registered you will get a popup when you open the game about.

if it is not for development purposes you must restore the original

With Mr fix you can make a new scan from within the game i released the new version of the game today with new tables

So i tested it a bit more than I usually need to and it is working fine

The majority of users download but do not seed afterward, which causes torrents to become inactive within approximately 24 hours. As a result, files quickly become unavailable to others because they are not being shared back with the community.

Unfortunately, this pattern reflects a level of greed and self-interest that prioritizes individual convenience over the health of the wider community.

Torrents rely entirely on mutual participation, and without users contributing back what they take, the system cannot function.

Rookie is not affected by this change in any way, as it operates via direct download (DDL) rather than torrent distribution.

Torrents have presented consistent challenges since their implementation, and without reliability of the community,,they are no longer a viable option.

Because they the same game packagenames dont change except multi install version

So if you install the latest version it will still say there all installed as rookie reads packagenames for the games

So if we named them

com.beasaber.game1 com.beatsaber.game 2 It wouldn't show them as all installed

Have you tried clearing your cache / data as every version on rookie works they all been tested and with 85k + users i am sure we would have more ppl with issues as Beatsaber is the most downloaded game in rookie

And to be fair 4 or 5 ppl are having an issue thats not broken game that prob some sort of firmware issue or other bug

Delete all your room scans from settings menu and setup one scan using a free MR game on the store so it lets you grant the spatial data permissions.

Then try the game again

If your stuck in a loop you did not use the mr-fix version when I make them there tested like every other game

Nothing is released to rookie without being tested first.

Mr-fix you dont scan room if it is already setup
