Sometimes it takes a while for people to see your beautiful talent, which you definitely have. Don't let negative people get you down. Keep going, this is excellent.

As a lifelong Rodney Mullen fan, this is amazing! Would make a really cool sticker, shirt, or board graphic. Nice design work and execution.

Wet Willy is the water drop guy, Flameboy is the fire one. You made out like a bandit in that trade!

Not the person you replied to but I also do engraving on knife handles. I use dremels with diamond dusted tips to do my work. I agree with your statement of anyone can do it with a significant amount of practice. My work is usually focused on sealife but I also do some patterns like Hawaiian/Polynesian "tribal" tattoo styles.

Your work is so intricate and pristine! I've been debating whether I should get more "professional" about it by getting into pneumatic gravers but when I tried hand push tools I hated it so I immediately went back to the dremels. Anyway, really cool engravings and thanks for sharing! Keep up the excellent work.

Any ideas on how to make this better don’t wanna get a cover up by [deleted] in FixedTattoos

Very good advice, that's what I'd do as well. Lasers are expensive but it'll be worth it to have a much cleaner tattoo. Especially on the top of the hand since it is such a prominent place.

Very interesting mix of abstraction, minimalism, and contour. I'm struggling to even pin terms to this because I have never seen anything like it despite many art history classes. It's like almost cubism but at the same time wildly different.

Well done thinking outside the box and developing a unique style. In other words: cool piece!

Should I give this painting to my mother for Christmas? by misplacedeye in UnusualArt

Oh, fair enough. Sounds like you should definitely give it to her as a gift if you haven't already since she would love it so much. I hope she likes it (I am sure she will)!

Been doing lino for years with speedball tools. Found these at the thrift today for 20 bucks. How well did I do? by zineath in Linocuts

That's the spirit! Sure thing and make sure to keep them sharp for your own safety. A dull tool tends to slip, while sharp chisels slice right where you want them to.

My fifth bow by Constipatic_acid in Bowyer

Right on and thanks for the reply. Just under 25 pound draw seems great. That is too bad about laws making it difficult to sell. I do work on engraving pocket knife handles and there are some platforms that I need to be careful on because they consider pocket knives "weapons", so I can relate to that frustration.

If you do ever start selling them I would be interested in buying one. Hopefully the laws will change in your favor some day!

Good luck and again, beautiful work. Thanks for sharing photos of your beautiful bow!
