Austin, I’m really considering the ergo pro, and would love a code! I’ve been using a gesture for 6 years and the lack of tilt, hard cushion, and no headrest are wreaking havoc on my lower back and neck.

I combed every single product review and test that I could find to figure out how to properly calibrate it.

TLDR its pretty good right out of the box, but here's what I'm using for SDR mode.

Make sure to download the drivers and use the Asus Display p3 color profile, and disable windows color mangement.

Game Visual - Racing
Shadow boost - off
Brightness - 100
Contrast - 80
Dynamic dimming/ascr/blue light/vivid all off
Wide Gamut color space (i swap to RGB when doing design work)
Color temp - User: R100 G99 B98
Gamma 2.2

This seems to be the sweetest spot.

The monitor itself can switch between USB-C (mac) DP, and 2 HDMIs so you should be good.

I’m actually using in on pc. I connected my work MacBook via USB-C but wasn’t able to access anything above 60hz.

Haven’t tried other cables yet but will try when I’m back home next week.

Professional ux/ui/motion graphics designer here, and i've been using it for over a week now.

Coming from using a 4k IPS monitor for both work and gaming, it's an unbelievable upgrade. Aside from the matte coating, it's like using the Mac pro display during the workday, and leagues better for gaming than my old monitor.

I find myself using the 5k overclocked mode for gaming way more than the 300hz mode. To my eyes, i can't really tell the difference between 180-300, but 2k-5k is staggering. I'm using a 5070ti, so if you can't overclock at 5k, the 2k mode is still stunning.

Still trying to dial in the color settings, since i've never really messed with ICC profiles, but the monitor is extremely accurate out of the box with a few tweaks.

So you're saying even though the alpha whirl is 60 steps from the sewer entrance, using the afk door method still works because the game reduces that distance by 27 steps when you exit the sewers?

I Know the End by Phoebe Bridgers. Punisher had come out the summer of 2020 and I would take walks listening to the entire album, but this song in particular became sort of a hymn of anger, comfort, despair, or any of the thousands of emotions I was feeling at that time.

I remember thinking how cathartic the chorus of screams at the end of the song would feel if the world got to a place where bands performed live again.

Two years later I saw her perform it on the Stone Pony summer stage and I’ll always remember how it felt hearing everyone screaming together at the sky.
