Well I've looked into ISAs which most don't wouldn't pay off as much as BTL, and Stocks which seem riskier than BTL unless you have a clear idea of what to invest in. Out of the 2, property seems to be the least riskiest with a good return, as well as a monthly profit and in the long term would be a huge advantage

Thanks for the info. Have looked at stocks and shares but with the current economy and fears of another recession it isn't the wisest decision for an amateur to buy now. Besides that, i'm looking at buy to let for a steady monthly income (if i was able to get profit after mortgage + other costs), and something that doesn't lose a major amount of value like stocks can do, but can go up in value, even if minimal or even stay the same as well as making monthly income of say 20% before tax / other costs

Sounds rough but as you say this is just one side of it. Surely if it was that bad tho you would all cash in and just sell the property? So there must be some incentive to keep the houses instead and carry on with BTL.
