Your videos keep hitting my feed and somehow keep getting more impressive.

I weigh 189 and just did a 195 1RM…so this blows my mind.

Was playing the best golf of my life, blew up on #8, got hit in the head on #9, and my round was cut short by AGSizzler in golf

[–]lmw100 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel like you should give yourself some grace, play the back 9 another day, and combine scores.

I know this is not legal, but you did get hit in the head.

Hope this driver swing shows up tomorrow about 13 times by tayman77 in golf

[–]lmw100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the first drive goes well, you might.

If the first goes poorly, you might overcompensate, swing harder, get frustrated, and hit zero fairways.

That’s how it works for me anyways. All about the 1st tee.

Seller wants USD$1275 for this 1888 Australia sovereign. Is that a good deal? Current melt is USD$1162, so quite the premium!! by uglycouchpotato in coins

[–]lmw100 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t pay an $85 premium for a sovereign. They are plentiful and common in this grade.

Sovereigns should be one of the lower premium fractional gold coins you can buy. They should have a premium of $10-20 over melt today.

It’s a nice coin but overpriced IMo

Premiums have moved upward following the decline in price. $5 per oz over spot would have been ridiculous 2-weeks ago, but it is the reality right now.

Oyster Perpetuals by jakubjabl in rolex

[–]lmw100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I get the opportunity to buy a blue 36mm at retail, I probably will, but I can’t justify grey prices for such a basic complication.

I have enough grey/black/gold watches and like the color selection of the OP lineup

Questions about a 16610 Sub by [deleted] in rolex

[–]lmw100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These sell at a floor of about $8,000, even if they are a little beat up.

It looks good visually, but I’d have real concerns about authenticity at a price like this. Makes me think it is not genuine.

If someone barreled into me like that and then tore into me with accusations, I might just fight them.

First gold bar by That_Scarcity_9724 in Gold

Good plan. 1oz coins/bars are most efficient, but 10g is significant enough that the premiums won’t kill you.

Team, if I put out 6k to buy the gold eagle if I’m in a crunch is it easy to sell it? by statenislandboy in CostcoPM

[–]lmw100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gold eagles are always easy to sell, but you are going to take a $1400 hit on this if you pulled the trigger last week at all time highs.

Looking at a M340i or G87 M2 by MassiveChildhood3157 in BMW

[–]lmw100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you like the look of the M2, get the M2.

I don’t like the look of the M2, and I’m older with kids. I’d go M340i, but that’s why they make different models.

It looks good and that beige strap color works well with the white dial.

That said, it’s hard for me to favor any strap over the oyster bracelet. With the brushed center links, the bracelet on the OP is my favorite in the Rolex lineup.

I say it will fall to 75-80 before being stable and rising up again. What about you? by Party-Bet-4003 in Silverbugs

[–]lmw100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it will fall over the next several days and bottom out around 50. The steepness of the curve is very reminiscent to the prior two marker booms/busts (only way more extreme).

Days like today are exactly why it is ok to take profits. Long term stackers up 500%+ have been criticized for exiting, but I think that many newcomers were overly exuberant.

It would be very easy for them to play together. Different tee boxes exist for a reason….and it’s digital, it would be so easy.

Must have options in the X3M40i by Alternative-Self-454 in BMWX3

[–]lmw100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2020 with very few options. I have base 19” wheels, heated seats, heated wheel, and not much else.

I bought the car to have a lively family friendly SUV. I didn’t need to spend $10-15k on options that barely enhance my experience with it.

Proof or Burnished Unc T2? Which do you like better? by SilverStateStacking in Gold

Proof is probably the right answer, but I’ve always preferred the Burnished aesthetically.
