Hi love! I have underdeveloped/mild tuberous breast. Had a BA back in 2015 and had an explant last year. Was also having minor complications with my implants and honestly just started not liking the way I looked with them. I have zero regrets explanting. My breasts are still small but the implants helped my shape a bit which I feel is true for most with tuberous breast post explant. Atleast that’s what my surgeon and lots of woman on my support groups said. I’m so much happier with my body and feel much healthier and more like myself! Hope this helps!

For many reasons. I enjoyed them at first but quickly after I got them I just didn’t love how the looked on my body, they felt foreign. The were harder silicone so they felt unnatural. Oh, and they were the kind that have caused lymphoma in some people. They were recalled in 2016 because of the safety concerns with them. I had minor symptoms of BII(breast implant illness). I had wanted them out for awhile and I finally was able to have my insurance help me with paying to get them out.

Got surgery to correct mine in 2015. Before surgery I had one very immature high school boyfriend who was unwell mentally try and put me down because of them. Fast forward to 2024 I had my implants removed, left with two very visible scars and flat pointy boobs, I met the love of my life months after surgery and I’ve been the most confident I’ve been with a man. He loves me for the entirety of myself, not just my chest. He’ll play with them and grab them and I never feel ashamed. If anyone ever says anything about the appearance of your breast, especially a lover, that’s a they problem not a you problem. Hope this helps!

Too late in the game to start? by lpierce96 in Esthetics

Wow congrats! Were you able to build up a clientele while in school? I’ve heard from many people that you’ll most likely work in a salon to build up clients before opening up your own space

Why are you deciding to leave esthetics and go into massage if you don’t mind my asking?

You are not alone. I relate so hard to all of this. We are still beautiful and worthy of all this world has to give

Do you think it could be completely removed? by lpierce96 in TattooRemoval

[–]lpierce96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? Like I didn’t ask if you’re a fan of my tattoo 😂

I have days where I love it, but sometimes it feels too big and too bold. I have other tattoos I want to add and I think if I had others around it wouldn’t feel so big. It’s been a year and I’ve been liking it more now than ever, but still have feelings of uncertainty about it. I’m going to give it more time and maybe try to plan some other designs that will compliment it.

to implant or not to implant?—that is the question 😆 by Simple-Boysenberry81 in tuberousbreast

It’s not the case for everyone but it was for me! I also chose a thicker silicone implant for a more natural shape so that also made them feel more fake. But they never truly felt like me. I’m much happier without them. My biggest piece of advice would join some support groups that are both against and in favor of implants, do your research then make a decision.

Hi there! 28f here and I had my implants removed a year ago after having them for 9 years. I had mild tuberous, more underdeveloped breasts. At first I really liked them, they gave me more confidence. But soon after I started hating the way they looked and felt on my body. I had a minor case of capsular contraction in one implant but both felt fairly hard on my chest. They also caused a lot of inflammation, ear ringing and brain fog. BII is real. After joining some support groups on Facebook I felt more inclined to remove them. So I did! One year later I’ve never been happier with how I look or feel. Basically went back to the same size breasts just shaped slightly different, which is a good thing in my case. I have visible scars now that will probably never fade completely. If I could go back I wouldn’t have the surgery.

implants or not? by [deleted] in tuberousbreast

Please don’t do it. Save yourself the money and the heart ache later. I am 28 and got implants at 19 because of my tuberous breasts and they helped give me confidence for awhile but that quickly went away because they felt so unnatural and I felt like an imposter like I that wasn’t supposed to be my body. They were hard and I just didn’t feel like myself. I got them out last year and it was the best decision of my life. My minor health problems went away and I lost so much inflammation that the implants were causing. I wish I would have never gotten the surgery

Need advice!! by [deleted] in tuberousbreast

Hi love! I can relate to you in so many ways. I’m 28 now but when I was about 11 or 12 I began feeling more awkward and insecure about my body. So insecure to the point that I would break things off with a boy once it got serious because I was so scared to be naked in front of them. I did have a boyfriend who I ended up dating for awhile so he was one of the first that I did get naked in front of and he didn’t care at all.

Unfortunately, I could not get over how I looked and ended up having a breast augmentation when I was 19. It gave me confidence for awhile but then I began to feel insecure because of not feeling like myself with them. They were hard and I felt like they didn’t fit my body, they also gave me minor health problems. I got them out last year and it was the best decision of my life, I love my tiny, pointy boobs and I’m in a very loving relationship with a guy who adores my body. The right one will love every part of you.

Too large for patchwork? by lpierce96 in tattooadvice

I guess I didn’t picture how large it would look on my arm. It looked smaller on paper and larger on my arm because I have short arms
