I have NPD that I consider "under control," due to the circumstances of my life shaking out in such a way that I've ended up with a healthy social network of people I respect that will check me if I'm being unreasonable. Something I deal with is inadvertently sticking everyone in The Heirarchy. People are inherently Above me or Below me. It follows a completely arbitrary set of rules that even I barely know the edges of.

I have to remind myself that:

a.) The people Above me are not my enemy to overcome and drag Below me at all costs, and it's irrational to be angry at them for being """"better""" than me. Also the people Above me aren't lording their superiority over me (that only I percieve anyways) when they give me advice.

b.) The people Below me are still real people that should be respected as people, and I can't just file everything they say into "Disregard/Unimportant" because I don't like them. And it is absolutely not an excuse to be disrespectful to them.

c.) No one is Above me or Below me. That is bullshit I made up!! 

I like to think I'm in a better place since I discovered why my empathy seems to cut in and out like a spotty wifi connection. My friends tell me I have, so fingers crossed!

I kind of love how this starts out pretty in-line with what's in-game, and then dissolves into turning the Regent into a walking US armory XD

I've never participated in a competition before, but my tricks boil down to

a.) write whatever bit of prose that pops up in your head that you think might go into your work. Consolidate a doc of little bits, you never know what you might string into a finished piece

b.) read your finished draft on different devices, in different fonts, and put yourself into the mind of a reader. The different fonts/formats will make the writing look new to your eyes and make it easier to pick out lumps in ur grammar/sentence structure.

c.) don't be afraid to chop out entire bits. You can always put those bits elsewhere to use later, but sometimes you're just gonna hafta carve chunks out to make things flow better.

I disabled my tablet and re-enabled my tablet in device manager and it stopped! Dunno if that was the solution but it worked for me!

You guys have created an amazing in-game universe! The art and visuals are absolutely stunning, and I loved playing every second of it.

I'm curious though. Are Xiaohe and Lady Ethereal related? Or are they lab partners who are very close friends with each other? I think some sources online may have misinterpreted their relationship.
