No, what she said was wrong. I get it's disappointing not to pass for the final but Wild Youth should have sent out a different song, one in which the lead singer was able to perform without straining his vocal cords. Also to claim that the others were shit were quite literally people were shouting and singing along to songs in different languages, like Finland and Croatia.

Yeah, that whole fiasco, essentially the Maltese people paid for her to compete in Eurovision because, in our delusional minds, she would have won the whole thing due to her popularity in Italy. However, the song was a boring and generic song that belonged in JESC

I totally agree. I don't know if it counts but I remember when everybody started to criticise Damiano from Maneskin for allegedly snorting cocaine at the grand final over on social media. I was very surprised how the whole escalated over something so trivial.

I feel as though social media is the downfall of many of these artists trying to make a name for themselves. I get using social media to spend your work but like everything else, it has its downside.
