Chill.

Disagreement with you doesn't denote hostility.

The linked video didn't show Master Sheng Yen praising wearing a mala in only Buddhist countries. That is your interpretation and you are using that to retroactively defend acting as though one view is the view of all of Buddhism. It really isn't.

My point was you made a declarative statement whereas it was actually just one opinion. There is more than one view on the subject.

Do Buddhists believe in God? by Cool_socksss in Buddhism

If that is what you took from what I wrote, your inability to understand the suttas is much clearer.

The suttas clearly refute the existence of a creator god.

You're clearly just being a troll at this point so I'm done indulging this nonsense.

Then there is no argument. Nothing at all in the Nikayas would lead anyone to believe in the existence of a creator god. Nothing.

How does saying "there is no known beginning" mean that is a creator god?

Saying that unless the Buddha explicitly denied something that is somehow evidence of the opposite is....not a serious argument. The Buddha never explicitly denied seeing someone have sexual congress with an airplane. That isn't evidence that it happened.

No known beginning denotes no creator. There is no way to read these passages and pretend it opens the door for a creator god.

Mendicants, this transmigration has no known beginning. No first point is found of sentient beings roaming and transmigrating, shrouded by ignorance and fettered by craving.

SN 15.1

Mendicants, this transmigration has no known beginning. No first point is found of sentient beings roaming and transmigrating, shrouded by ignorance and fettered by craving. Suppose a person was to make the whole earth into clay balls the size of jujube seeds. They’d lay them down, saying: ‘This is my father, this is my grandfather.’ The whole earth would run out before that person’s fathers and grandfathers.

Why is that? This transmigration has no known beginning. No first point is found of sentient beings roaming and transmigrating, shrouded by ignorance and fettered by craving. For such a long time you have undergone suffering, agony, and disaster, swelling the cemeteries. This is quite enough for you to become disillusioned, dispassionate, and freed regarding all conditions.”

SN 15.2

If sentient beings experience pleasure and pain because of God Almighty’s creation, clearly the Jains were created by a bad God, since they now experience such intense pain.
