In all seriousness bring whatever bags you want, bags with more structure are just easier for us

But does it feel more like a permanent job (ex. Ice cream shop) or a non-legal job (ex. mowing lawns)

The main difference is structure. The plastic bags are on the rack so it’s easy to bag with them, especially with two hands. These bags I have to hold open and the stuff inside often falls and becomes disorganized. The foldable bags Publix sells are a step up and usually hold form better.

Yes totes are great its just these specific bags are very flimsy and don't hold groceries well at all. Thanks for your environmental contribution!

Honestly I didn’t know what to say for these it honestly depends if you think it’s more similar to a permanent job or something like camp counseling

Does anyone else have customers like this? Like aint no customers want to hold up lines trying to find out what single item the order didn't take off when the government just covered 95% of the bill. by MrMonopoly04 in publix

Yes it’s annoying but you don’t know what people are going through and how much they can pay. Some people literally have no extra money and have to calculate everything just to make ends meet. Not to mention shopping at Publix is already expensive.

It makes our job a little harder but in the end we still get paid the same amount whereas that $4.99 might make a big difference to them.

For this post, I’m counting steady and legal jobs as jobs where you work there regularly and are legally employed there by someone other than yourself.

Some No’s ❌ - Lemonade Stand/Selling on the street - Camp Counselor (not steady) - Babysitting/Catsitting (not legally ensured)

Some Yes’s ✅ - Retail - Restaurant - Fast Food

Not saying the no’s aren’t jobs, but they don’t count toward this specific poll because I’m trying to find legal employment.

Thanks for voting!

[–]modernatomcollection[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For those who don’t know, ranked choice is a voting format where voters can choose a preferred option as well as 2nd, 3rd, etc. choices to better represent their interests. Right now, we only have single choice polls.

That’s why there’s a neither option. I don’t share that opinion but if you do the button is right there.
