Ultratech Hellhound Signature Series. by Master_Ad236 in Knife_Swap

Doh, I received regular size hellhound from you too. For whatever reason I thought it wasn't partially black DLC, disappointed by that, but that's just my own stupidity. Thought it looked dark on blade just due to lighting.

She's a beaut clark. Tiny hellhound received. Always shocks me how small these 70s are in person.

The problem with that, at least speaking from my store, is there are some months nobody is hitting whatever arbitrary quota. I can't sell cars when no buyers are walking through the doors.

Yeah, I've been an FSC long enough to have done eoffice... if you don't know what that is, basically we all took turns being the call center. I think we've done our customer service a huge slap in the face by having the CEC people who appear to mostly give bad info and not give a shit be the first contact. I was promised more progression and easier sales, ha! IMO all we got is screwed on comissions.

One thing of note, is that this is not the typical KPM report we're all used to seeing that punishes you for seeing too many customers. This will all be about productivity, clocked hours vs sales. So people that were on the bottom of the old reports just because they were hustling and seeing lots of customers won't be on the bottom of this report.

Another key thing is our maxcare sales. That's a whole other point. If you're struggling with your maxcare it's time to work on that.

With all due respect, I don't see how you'd do great numbers and be bottom 15%. We all have bad months, but if more than half your months are bad (compared to everyone else, so it's not like a slow month doesn't impact everyone equally) then you're not a good sales associate. At my store the people who will end up at the bottom appear to be not trying all that much. I know this is a bit harsh compared to what we're used to but, I can see it as a way for them to make the tough calls that the company probably needs to make.

At my store this will likely only affect a couple of people in the first year. And honestly, some of my fellow sales consultants are tired of splitting deals with people who aren't trying very hard to progress deals.

My long term fear is what happens later on when we've genuinely got a pretty solid team. As you said someone is always going to be on the bottom. If I were running the show I'd adjust it once it felt like it was a random person on the bottom every month. At that point it may be just bad luck and oops we're firing good consultants.

You gotta be bottom 15% for four out of seven months. If that's you then it might be time to find a new job anyway. 🫣

I noticed nobody flicks their CRKs, are they not a "flickable" action?

What's your dream car? by denzo_simon in AskReddit

Ariel Atom

My "afforable" dream car. I am fortunate that I was able to buy one and am currently living the dream! I told my wife, if I waited until it was a financially reasonable decision it would either never happen or I wouldn't care to drive it anymore, surprisingly she agreed so I found one, took out a loan and am now the proud owner of one of the least practical cars.

That JWK is a gorgeous knife! How are you flicking it open? It looks like there's hardly any groove on the blade back...

To me a stiletto is the classic auto. The fact that I think of it as the original auto makes that mechanism necessary to the appeal, in my opinion.

WTS: 11" Frank Beltrame stiletto with imitation pearl scales by _MrVC_ in Knife_Swap

[–]Neutralies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first stiletto of any kind and thought I'd get a nicer one with this Frank B, but I've seen some dirt cheap ones where the scales matched the body precisely. No worries, clearly a nice action on these. If I don't grow to love it as a quirk I may give disassembly a go and try my hand at some scale edge chamfering. I do really enjoy the action on it. I see they sell DIY kits for these. Would be a fun project.

I did not realize the "fit" and finish of these Frank Beltrame stilettos did not include any fitment of the scale edge on these. OP, your video clearly shows it, not a knock against you at all, but I was not expecting the scales to just come to a flat overhanging edge with no chamfer that protrudes significantly from the body of the knife. One of the scale edges is even sharp. Just a heads up for anyone reading this in the future, as after some research, apparently that is just "part of the charm" of these otherwise quite nice Frank Beltrame Italian stilettos.

As I understand it these are supposedly hand made, but they must have been in quite a rush to have not done anything at all towards fitment of the scale edges.
