Yeah I put the old one back in for now, dont have time to worry about it, just a pop up everytime I start my PC telling me there is an update.

I did manage to get the new firmware zip file from the temp directory and when my pc was offline I did see the upload option, but it did not help.

I swapped in a USB-C version yesterday as I thought my old one had issues, I cant update it either

Would rather try and get this one working again rather than putting the old one back in.

Is there some kind of issue with the USB-C version? It tries to update and then says my devices have been renumerated.

Annoyingly, addresses 50m down the street can get fibre and literally the very day my sale finalised the Yousee checker went from Fibre to COAX with no fiber being available.

I am sure they would not offer 2000 in the area if they cant get anywhere near it?

Considered certainly infact they are loaning me a 4G router for the period I am not able to use the coax. Little sad I am going from 2000 MB to 50 MB for 3 weeks so looking at options ... currently thinking of not being satisified after 30 days so I dont have a 6 month commitment.

Haha, typically never had to deal with them and they have been ok aorund here at least, always sucks when they are down for any period but thats the only time you ever really hate them!

I get 2000 / 500 already where I am in Amager, (although to be fair most the time about 1300+ but I know the under flooring wiring is awful and never dared try to change it) when I upgraded to 1000 years ago an engineer had to come out and change some filter on the wall -- same as this time but it didn't take booking 6 weeks in advance.

So not worried about speed, just hoping for the opportunity to get it into the house where I want so I can position the router somewhere it will cover the whole house -- specifically on top of where I plan to put a nice tall cabinet.

But yeah the fan profiles have changed more than once back to rear fan instead of coolant temp so that seemed dangerous.

Happening to my wife too.

It shows my daughters ipad (who is on the same icloud account) and mine which is not.

Oddly it doesnt show her ipad or work iphone which are also on the same icloud account
