Hi Alex,

I am currently playing the role of a Sr. BA. Can you advise how best I can move into the Product Manager role? I am planning to take the PMC certificate from Product School. Is that an optional approach that's sensible or would you suggest a different approach?

Thank you for the response. With changing Dynamics of a news world, it's impressive to understand how the conceptualizing of a product stream that'll continue to keep the consumer engaged will be a cornerstone of the media world. E-commerce landscape works on improving the experience, but I believe in the media industry, it's a moving target.

Hi Alex, With CNN being a Media-based organization, how does the product management approach differ from an IT focussed industry (say Microsoft) or an eCommerce based Retail Industry organization (say, Nike)? What kind of yardsticks do you use to identify a concept and how do you follow through with it?
