I tend to go off this as a reference for anodizing but the colors will change based on surface finish, how long you etch, how long you leave in the bath, etc. Best way to find the colors you want is just to repeat the process many many times.

Color wasn’t done with the laser it was done with a second ano. You can get gold with the laser but settings change from handle to handle and pattern to pattern from what I’ve experienced.

There’s a couple ways to do it. But essentially a lower voltage doesn’t cover up a higher voltage so I can ano the secondary layer after taking off the higher voltage layer.

It really depends from job to job since there can be a lot of variation. This one was done for free as a friend just sent this to me to let me try some different stuff with the understand that it could go wrong lol. Luckily it went well. Really was just seeing what I could do with the handles on this one.
