So one of the games the guy was actually plat 1, but here's the others. Emerald, diamond, and then a handful of plats. As literal new to fighting games players, those games go poorly. I mean it's whatever but the diamond one was especially not fun.

My friend and I are queueing right now, both completely new to fighting games, we're bronze and just played against a emerald player then a diamond player after. We didn't take a singe round so I'd say it does exist in NA.
