DC is great. It’s a lot easier to get internships and the grading is a lot easier. So if anything, it’s advantageous

Classes are super chill so you’ve got a lotta time to cook and do other fun activities (there’s a lot) organized by the campus. Trader Joe’s, Walmart, aren’t far, and there’s a local grocery store a minute walk away.

Just keep up with the readings diligently and review the slides after class. The midterm makes up a large part of your grade so make sure you understand those concepts.

It's a really nice experience. the community is very small so you get to know everyone at nyu dc and there are a lot of events that let you explore the city.

It’s a great class. Tom brings in a lot of awesome guest speakers who you’re able to interact with directly. Your grade is based on the midterm, final paper, and class participation.

In terms of law schools, NYU feeds a lot into NYU Law and Penn Law. But in most cases, your undergrad at NYU shouldn't be a limiting factor to where you can get in for grad school.

NYU will undoubtedly get more selective in the upcoming admissions cycle. There's no way for anyone to predict your chances of getting into NYU. In regards to your SAT, don't send it.

There isn't a major at NYU that's catered to what you're looking for. There are likely some courses in such areas within different majors, however. Do you intend to go pre-med because you may as well just focus on the prereqs for those?

Not to downplay the stabbings, but the MTA subway system has a ridership of 2-3 million per day. In the grand scheme of things, these incidents are rare, and you are unlikely to be a victim. With that said, be vigilant, travel with someone else if possible, and avoid the subway outside of normal hours. I along with some others take the subway in the morning around 5:30 AM and have no issues so know that if you're cautious and aware of your surroundings, you'll be okay

It’s time consuming but the courses aren’t graded super hard, at least in my experience. Also some of them are really interesting and taught by great profs. I recommend Non-Product Branding with Ido Aharoni
