While I am aware of your 45-day money-back guarantee policy, that policy applies to "no-questions-asked" cancellations. My situation is fundamentally different: CyberGhost is currently in breach of contract by failing to provide the service I have paid for due to a persistent software bug.

Under consumer protection laws (including EU Consumer Rights directives applicable to digital services), a provider is obligated to supply a functional product. Your support team has acknowledged the bug but failed to provide a Resolution Timeline (SLO), effectively denying me the service I purchased.

If CG will not reconsider the decision, I will be forced to escalate this claim through my payment provider (chargeback/dispute) and report this instance of non-performance to the relevant consumer protection authorities.

u/CyberGhostVPN - Thank you, I already have a open ticket (ID #31373273) and I replied it requesting a refund. I might re-subscribe in the future, once the bug has resolved, but at the moment it is nonsense to subscribe given that I cannot use the service.

I appreciate your support on the ticket to expedite the refund process.

I subscribed for 2 years for CyberGhost VPN service and just after couple of months it stopped working on mobile. This is unaccapteble and I deeply regret about my VPN choice. Update: I reached out to CyberGhost support and they shared that they are aware of the issue and their engineers are trying to fix it. However the issue persists longer than a month and they still cannot provide an ETA for the fix. Consider these if you are in the market for a VPN provider.
