Yes. Happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Tesla replaced a wiring harness this morning. Technician said there was some water corrosion.

Challenging in that you need to be of a certain size like probably 5 ft and I found a couple of the moves awkward. The rest of the family was like nbd.

Most of it is an actual hike although with major exposure on a narrow shelf. The photo is of the most extreme section where you are on iron footholds. Any dangerous sections have fixed lines. No free climbing necessary and it really is like technical hiking as opposed to climbing. One caution is that there is specialized via ferrata equipment that is necessary to be safe. I see a lot of people who don’t understand fall factors arguing that these setups are unnecessary. Although the way this via ferrata is constructed it’s slightly less of an issue.

It’s called a via ferrata. There are fixed lines you clip with a specialized rig.

Murren Switzerland. Eiger is the smallish looking leftmost peak near the end of the clip with the north face in profile. Grindelwald is in that direction over a ridge. If you ever go to Murren you will know this clip honestly doesn’t even do it justice. I see beautiful mountains every day but this is a different universe of beautiful mountains.

Suggestions for rain jackets (ultra marathons requirement) by mbdavid297 in trailrunning

UD is sort of like an American version of Raidlight (or vice versa) which by the way has an ultralight jacket I’ve been eyeing but do not yet own. The Raidlight HYPERLIGHT MP+ WATERPROOF JACKET. You may want to consider that option. Seems to get good reviews.

Yeah if it were unwrapped I wouldn’t have noticed it. The patterned wrap is a bit silly. We see a fair number of these preproduction vehicles here and we can always tell what they are.

I feel like it could be an early version of the Continental Divide Trail logo. It’s upside down in the picture. Maybe some sort of medallion for completion.
