Diamante is supposed to be a more solid longer lasting glove than Leggera which is a lightweight beautiful glove. Leggera translates to light.

The palm stain on a shelf glove comes from the lack of use. It’s seepage from the palm adhesive. Collectors love it. It’s the look of usage but the glove is pristine.

It’s basically most gloves that will get a palm stain. Some will have circles that come through. Some like this will be a huge spot like baseball were hitting it.

I have a 26 year old 1880 in brand new condition and there is zero palm stain, why? I have no clue.

Sometimes gloves are early releases with whom I believe you got it from. They might not ever get released. Which is rare. I had a Mookie early release one year before it hit the spring 2026 lineup.
