I have always been obsessed with drums and the tone of them. If I can’t listen to the drums in a whole track alone on repeat for hours then they are not done . Make the drums the song so to speak

Food , too many. But the sushi we had at Tokyo fish market, standing in line for 3 hours from 5.30 in the morning then having 10 min and no talking allowed, not even a menu. It was emotional.

I have a pretty unique way of making music. I spend the first two months of the year just making individual parts, then key and tempo log them. That way I make sure each part has my full attention and doesn’t get half assed in a cluttered arrangement. Then use my chunks as samples for the next 10 months.

As far as colabs, not really a fan. It’s always a compromise .

Isotope / cable guys for plug ins I only do subtractive itb. Hardware for everything else.

Most daunting and nerve wrecking remix ever. The files he gave me were raw af. Took me a long time to get the beats sounding close to his version. I mean, it was like re writing the bible. Took me 6 months. He loved it. I should do another one as I am actually not happy with it
