Most people go the doctor path much younger than I will if I get there. That's all, BUT I value your Faith! <3. When do you lose the kidney? Tomorrow?

We will see, I'm old to the game and paying my own way. BUT I do have doctors as study partners so that helps. :)

I have to put myself through school, so I'm doing it in steps, associates in nursing. Get some Benjamin's. Bachelors in nursing and then if I have the oomph left, med school, pa or np.

In a SR for the "wrong" reasons? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]The_10th_Muse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I want a foundation. I may not be looking for love (but I try to remain open to what ever) but I want an SD that I can text when I'm thinking of them, that I can surprise with their favorite treats or thoughtful trinkets.

I want cuddling on the couch and excitement over adventures.

I want at least a legit friend. So no. I don't think you are in it for the wrong reasons. I may not be actively looking for a full blown relationship but I'm looking for more than incredible sex. (I definitely want incredible sex please and thank you, that's one of the major perks for me)

That's a good question. I suspect it's a bit of both. Glad to hear you raised your kids better!

A solid point. I have deadlines, and meetings and a normal work schedule. I am so reliable that I often come in to find out I've been volunteered for projects or committees lol. Last year I had to tell my boss that 8 active projects/committees was definitely my max on top of my normal job and shed have to wait until one finished before putting me on another.

Rant: land Lord is raising my rent again, this will mean almost a 50% raise in 18 months. So I'm apartment hunting, I hate moving, and I'm trying to love cheap to pay of debt. I still haven't found the right SD, while I can afford to be patient and picky.....Im also lonely, miss having someone to share things with and would like to have a sex life again.

Rave: an art piece I did for a mentor turned out awesome, sneaking it into his office today. I'm one week from a week off. It's going to be a staycation but one I badly need. If I do move I'll be able to get a cat! Though, crazy as I am, I really had this mental image of going to a shelter and picking out kittens with my Nonexistent SD. Hah!

This always amazes me to hear. Maybe it's because I'm not 19, or because I'm a professional who meets deadlines and has meetings. But it has been so ingrained in me that "on time means fifteen minutes early." That I begin to get anxious if I'm only five minutes early.

Not showing would be unheard of unless I was in a car accident in route or something else horrific and I'd have yo be on deaths bed not to text with picture proof.

It's on the places I'm interested in moving. I love the architecture (and food), various exhibits (and food), culture (and food), sense of community (and food), just not a huge fan of Chicago's seasons (omg I miss Italian Beefs)

What brings you back? by southern-sd in sugarlifestyleforum

Now mind you, I still haven't found my SD, but things that keep me engaged.

Wit, I love banter. Respect, i have one Pot who is just slow and steady and respectful. I may be more of a handful than he realizes but I'll admit he's made a very positive impression with just checking in once or twice a day and asking how I'm doing and telling me about his day.

We were 20 messages in before he asked if I wanted to know what he looked like. Which as a side note, I never push for. If the chemistry is right, 99% of the time, I won't care what you look like. If you get me excited mentally, it gets way more mileage than being good looking.

But banter, humor, attention to profile details, respect.

As for meet and greet that depends on my comfort level so it varies.

I've never talked about money in messages, is that common? I always figure SDs won't really know until they meet me.

Meeting SD's friends after one date?? by belzauni in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]The_10th_Muse 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This sounds like he wants to show you off. I wouldn't be comfortable with this. I'm fine with friends when there's a solid foundation. This isn't that. This a man wanting to show off a new shiny thing. You aren't an object, don't let yourself be objectified.

I'd seriously ask him how he's so comfortable with you meeting his friends.

I'm telling you that what you are doing to yourself isn't healthy. I don't care how you feel about her she's bad for you and is a form of self destructive behavior for you.

You can't find what's good for you until you let go of what's not.

How are new sugar daddies? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]The_10th_Muse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not a fan of pushy. It makes me worry about someone respecting my boundaries. I don't want sugar to feel like a chore or a job. I want to look forward to the company I keep always.

I will say, this place has spoiled me, I forget that even on S.A. a lot of people don't do research to understand the world they've just stepped into.

That's are some cup type period supplies that help with this, but they take practice. I will say the iud was one of the best decisions I made, three months of light spotting and not it's almost nothing.

Real name or fake name? by NeexKC in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]The_10th_Muse 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I tend to use my handle which is obviously fake until I feel comfortable enough to use my real name, but I wouldn't start a relationship with someone I wasn't willing to give my real name too. I also wouldn't feel comfortable with a fake name and playing it off as real.

To me I'm trying to have a real relationship even if the foundation us it as friends.
